Chapter 22. Reconcile

Chapter 22.

"Mew..."

Mew hugged Gulf tighter after he heard Gulf calling him in his sleep. He set aside first his need for Gulf's explanations, all he want to do at the moment is take care of his boyfriend.

Gulf's fever is lessening as the hours passes by. Mew didn't leave his side and is always attentive for his boyfriend.

Gulf feels so comfortable and at peace in Mew's arms. He feels his body immediately went back to normal because Mew is already at his side. Maybe, Mew is his cure. 

He is already wide awake without Mew knowing. He is still savoring the moment of silence and Mew's heartbeat that is beating the same pace as his.

A moment of silence in the middle of the night with soothing warmth can be feel inside Gulf's room. They both cured the loneliness that they endured for the past days. Both feeling comfortable in each other's arms and the love that they are sharing is like a blanket that is covering them tight together.

"I'm sorry.."

Gulf softly started talking. Mew looked down at him from a little shock because he didn't expect Gulf's talk. He made a little smile after he saw Gulf blinking his eyes, indicating that he is awake.

"Sky is just my friend, I didn't know that the photo he took looked so intimate. He is just encouraging me that time, I don't like him or anything."

Mew didn't answer and patiently wait for the whole explanation first. He doesn't want to misunderstood their situation again.

"He is always taking a photo with me whenever we are seeing each other because we rarely had time catching up. He doesn't know that I already have boyfriend so he posted it. It is usuall for him to post our photo on Facebook, but it is the first time that he tagged me."

Gulf looked up to see Mew. He saw his boyfriend silently looking at him while caressing his hair. He is hesitating if he will tell Mew about Sky's having feelings for him in the past, but he decided to not say it because he thinks it is not that important.

Mew felt relieved after he heard Gulf's explanation about the photo, he almost got insane for the whole day of thinking about it.

"Hey.. I want to know your thoughts."

Gulf slightly shakes Mew as he feels a little nervous because Mew is not giving him any answer.

"I'm afraid I might say harsh words if I talk. I want you to complete your explanations first."

Mew softly answered and smiled at Gulf to asure him that he is okay.

Gulf felt happy from his boyfriend's mature way of reacting to their misunderstanding. He leaned his body upward till his face is leveled on Mew's. He looked directly at Mew's eyes with so much love, he can't hide his smile as he softly touch Mew's face.

"I'm so thankful to have you." Gulf softly said. He moved closer and leaned his forehead to Mew's as he softly rubbed his thumb on Mew's cheek.

"And if you're gonna ask why I didn't message you, the resort doesn't have signal. We needed to go on the way to the city just to make a phone call. I had no time doing that because I'm rushing everything even at night so I can go back here immediately."

Mew smiled from Gulf's statement. His boyfriend didn't exactly tell the reason. He knows that there's another reason for his rushing.

"Just say that you miss me, Bii.."

Mew tried to tease Gulf to lift up the mood. He is softly squeezing Gulf's hips under the quilt and he can feel Gulf's normal body heat. He is now thankful that his boyfriend is finally fine and he already heard the truth that made his mind at peace.
