You caught another hour or so of sleep after Kylos episode in his living room, and since then, that same light switch had been flipped once again. You were surprised to find breakfast ready for you, along with the side meal of a charming man who was Kylo Ren, waiting for you as you trailed out into the kitchen.
You weren't sure what had changed in him, but a sly smirk was now on his lips as his hand held a black mug of coffee, the newspaper he was reading resting on the marble countertop.
"Good morning, sleeping beauty." He chimed, urging his eyes towards the plate of food he had made you minutes ago, still steaming and hot.
You eyed the attractive man suspiciously, brows knit. You tip-toed around his sudden happy behaviour, just waiting for it to crash in the matter of seconds all over again.
But nonetheless, you slid in to the counter stool beside him, wincing when your bruised backside came in contact with the leather. He merely just smirked at your reaction.
You happily shovelled a few bites of food into your hungry mouth before you were perking up, panic washing over you. "What time is it?" You voiced.
Kylos eyes flickered between you and the silver glinting Rolex on his thick wrist. "Around nine o'clock, why? Got somewhere to be?" He asks.
Your shoulders drop at his words. "Yes, I was supposed to be at the diner an hour and a half ago. I completely forgot about my shift today." You groan.
He drops the newspaper in his hands, turning to look at you. "If you still want to go, my car drives pretty fast. I can get you there in no time." You offers.
You decline his offer, taking another bite of the food he had made you. "It doesn't matter now, I'll just make up an excuse. I rather spend the day with you anyway." You admit with pink cheeks.
He offers a sly grin. "Good choice." He praises, eyes dancing over you. His lips open and close, mouth hesitating to say his next words.
"Speaking of," he began, drawing your attention, "I wanted to talk to you about something." He spoke, voice going darker now.
You stopped mid-chew, heart quickly sinking in your chest. All his smiles and laughs were gone now, replaced by a more serious, yet still laid back expression.
Internally, you panicked. You started to worry about last night, if you had crossed a line, if he was going to deliver bad news to you. You couldn't muster enough pleads to stop him.
"And what is that?" You asked instead, tip-toeing around his next words.
He was quiet for a moment, a smile faltering on his full lips. "I've been thinking about this for a bit, and I figured since I like having you around, I wanted to offer you a certain proposition." He explains.
He sucks in a sharp breath, almost nervous. "You're aware that I have money, and you're also aware of the event we had met at. What I'm asking you is, are you willing to have an exchange, of a sort. I spoil you, give you money, and I'm sure you know what you give me." He explains his offer.
You looked at him with wide eyes. You had almost completely forgotten the type of man Kylo was, and you almost had yourself fooled thinking this was some sort of normal relationship.
