"I told you for the 100th time already, Claire. Malano is not my boyfriend." I sigh. 'I'm so tired of her asking me that.'

"Soo.." She drags. "That means you won't mind if I-" she stops and clears her throat. "See what he's doing this...Uh...Weekend. Would you?" I lightly smile and shake my head. This is no surprise to me.

I knew she had a crush on him. I could tell because Malano is all she talks about. The sad part about that is if she hadn't seen him, we probably wouldn't be acquaintances. 'Typical female.'

"Feel free. Malano is like a brother to me." She smiles and sits back on the bench. I can tell she was mesmerized in thought of him, because she began to bite her lip. 'Mally is quite handsome, not to forget that he has eyes to die for.' I slightly chuckle and look forward. Happy to see that Malano has just pulled into the parking lot.

I am ready to go see my Nanu. I look over at Claire who immediately sits up. Paying close attention to the car pulling up towards us. I shake my head and stand to my feet. I really don't care, but I'm so sick of females befriending me because they want to get close to Malano!

Almost half of Malano's females were my acquaintances first. And the funny part about that is they get so jealous of Malano and I's relationship. They try to make him unfriend me. That's when he starts cutting them off....

I remember one girl I was cool with, her name was Kelsey. She was this really pretty, fairly dark skinned girl. I met her at hooters, when Malano and I first got our apartment together. That was my first job. She was cool or what ever. Her and the cook were about the only people I was cool with. But, to make a long story short Malano came to pick me up from work. And usually he stays in the car.

However, he decided he wanted to get out and eat. As expected she assumed he was my boyfriend. I mean I would think the same if it were vice versa. Malano is very playful and we're so comfortable around each other. So we goof around a lot. That is what really makes us appear as a couple.

Anyway, when she found out he wasn't my boyfriend she started flirting with him. And this is how she became his new, and excuse my language, fuck buddy. She started coming over and like any female, she was trying to control Malano and get him to settle down with her. Of course she got the negative response she did not want. One thing Malano hates is when a female forgets her place. What really made the whole thing a deal breaker is when she tried to get him to write me off from his life. She didn't know this was a deal breaker because I am basically Malano's back bone. I was there when his dad murdered his mom and when he had to go to trial. And so many more things.

In school, we were voted most likely to get married. But we know that won't happen.

I walk over to the car and get in. Ignoring how deep Claire is staring into the car. "Hey Mally." He smiles and points to a brown paper bag that is sitting on the console.

I smile back, happy to know that he thought of me. 'Lord knows I'm hungry.' "Thank you Nono!" I grab the bag and open it. The sweet smell of bacon hitting my nose once I do. I buckle my seat belt with my free hand, as he takes off.

"Wassup with yo lil friend staring all into the car and shit." I shrug and dig into the bag, pulling out my chicken bacon sub.

"I guess she has a crush on you." I nonchalantly state, unwrapping my sub. 'damn this sub looks good.' I take a deep breath and bite a chunk of my it. "Mhm so damn good." I mumble.

Malano look over and chuckle. I can sense the jealousy in his energy. "Let me get a bite?" I roll my eyes. 'like really? He had the chance to get his own.' I suck my teeth and reach the sandwich over.
