I was welcomed with a sweetest smile from Tia, she quickly ran towards me with an open arm so I kneeled down to get on her level "I missed you Rose" Tia said with a big smile as she hugged me in her tiny arms, "how about me?" John asked with a pout which Tia responded by saying "I just saw you this morning". A laughter broke between us and we headed inside to see Ana.

I could feel my phone vibrating for a while in my back pocket but I knew it was James so I just ignored it, I am still upset with him, why did he think that it was better for him to hide all of this from me, I know its not really a big deal but I would have love to know about it, after all it was part of my life for a while.

We all sat down around the dining table as Anna brought some roast and gravy to the table; "smells heavenly" I complimented her seeing the char-grilled rosemary around the roast. Just as Anna was slicing the roast, we hear a knock, "I will get it" John said and opened the door only to find James. My eyes widened up seeing James at the door as John and Ana looked at me with confusion. "come on in" John said awkwardly as Ana gave him a warm smile. "hey" I mumbled looking at him. "who is he mum?" Tia asked Ana, "James, my boyfriend" I replied and got up from the table. "John do you mind if we use your backyard. I need to talk to James privately" I said as I looked at both John and Ana for approval, "of course darling" Ana happily replied as John began to follow me and James. "John" Ana called out her husband sternly, hinting him to give us some privacy and with a long sigh John returned to the table.

"what the fuck are you doing here?" I asked him with gritted teeth, making sure not to be loud. "I missed you" he replied trying to step closer to me. "don't" I stopped him with my one hand raised, signalling him to stop right where he is. "why do you need space? I thought we were getting along, please don't say you have changed your mind" he begged as he began to come closer to me again. "James please" I mumbled and stepped behind. "I feel like I am suffocating, I told you I am with John and I need some space, I haven't seen him for long, so I just came to say hi" I added some lie. "but baby, space for what?" he asked again with full concern, "do you think I will be ok knowing you are with a guy who obviously has a feeling for you, who is perfect in every way, a good career, a good deeds, polite and who treats you like a queen, how could I just sit at home knowing you are with someone who you should be with" he said with a fear in his eye, "he is married for god sake James, and he doesn't have any feelings for me, if I have wanted a guy like him why would I stay with you? How can i prove that my love is genuine for you?" I asked him with a hint of annoyance in my voice. "I don't have any suspicion towards your love for me baby, but I do not trust you with him" he said trying to step closer to me again. "I am telling you James, John doesn't have any feelings for me, you need to stop right now" I yelled at him not caring about my surrounding. "you think? Come and let's ask him than but if he proclaim his love for you tonight than promise me you won't ever see him again" he threatened me, "I am not promising you anything" I replied looking dead in his eyes. "come here" he said with anger in his voice and pulled me inside of the house.

 "you love her, don't you?" James asked John, pulling me closer to him. "James stop" I mumbled and got away from him, "you are acting like a child right now" I told him off and looked at Ana apologetically, "why would he do all this to you then? Open your eyes and see a bigger picture here Rose, this guy loves you that is why he does thing so simple yet so touching for you" James said not removing his eyes from John. "I did some research on him, tell her John didn't you approved her internship because her name was Rose? Or else why would you approve an intern in your workplace where you haven't had any student in the past up till now? Why did you go to her family house and threatened Kyle? Why would you go over the hills and get in touch with Lucy? Why the fuck would you do stuff for her when her boyfriend is right here?" James asked John as John stayed up there frozen. "you think I know nothing, stay the fuck away from her or I swear...." James grabbed John's collar staring right into his eyes, "you need to stop" I yelled pulling away James from him, "what the fuck James, you are no saint either" I yelled pushing him away. "tell her you love her, you fucking asshole" James yelled again ignoring me, "why the fuck are you not talking, open your god damn mouth, you fucker" James yelled again as I continued to stay between them and held James. I looked at John thinking why he wouldn't just deny all this. "just deny everything John, tell this childish person you have no feelings for me" I yelled as I manage to hold James in this process.

"Fine, I admit it, I had a crush on her, I liked her" John took a long frustrating sigh.
