Epilogue

I was having a hard time gaving birth to my little sunshine. Eric never left my side from my labor up to my due time. His grip on my hand was so tight during my delivery. He avowed a lot of sweet words whenever I'm on my hard pushed.

Eric explained everything on me. And I understood him. We moved on his house the week before my labor. It was the house where he brought me after we went on the orphan. It was still the same just like my first time here but there's just a little changes on the furniture.

Everyone was happy knowing that we were back again. They wan't us to take an interview for the both of us but because of the baby Eric refuses. The time we moved, our closest friends, relatives and some business friends sent us flowers.

Hope your new house becomes a home! :)

Abot tainga ang ngiti ko habang binabasa ang mga mensahe nila. It was all overwhelming knowing that they have their full support on us.

I was happy and contented. The house I've built supposed to be  the shelter of me and my baby was already done, minsan lamang namin iyon nabibisita but knowing Brent was there staying, waiting for his board exam result, I know it was in the good hands. I'm very proud of him. And also we hired bodyguards to seek the security and housemaids to maintain its cleanliness.

"Mommy, is grandma coming?" I was reading an article on the couch when Keina appeared. She was now on her 4th age no wonder why she talked fluently.

I kept the newspaper on the side table and made her sit beside me.

"Yes Baby!" I smiled enthusiastically while carassing her long black hair.

"Yeaheyy!" she celebrated gracefully. "I'm so excited to see her again, Mommy!"

"Me too, Baby," It had been one week ago since Mom last visited us here. Nabusy na siya kaka-travel with Dad. "I'm sure they have a lot of presents for you,"

I pinch her cheeks softly. Oh God, she really got this featured from Eric. As she bid goodbye to me she was swaying her body happily, hindi na talaga siya makapaghintay. I even heard her hum the song Mom sang to her everytime they got here.

Mom and Dad together with Brent arrived an half hour ago before Eric's parent arrival. They brought a lot of gifts with them as well as chocolates for Baby Keina. She was really spoiled.

It was usual on us when our dinning table was filled of genuine laugh whenever they are all here.

"Dapat naman talaga ay maging sosyal ang kasalan ng dalawang ito." Eric's mom articulated. "It need to be 'a marriage to remember',"

"I agreed on that," Mom answered.

"Don't worry to much, we'll help organize things too. I also agree that it need to be beautifully perfect even though it's too labarious and need a lot of time but who cares!" Tito Jeffrey exclaimed.

"I'm kinda excited now," Zelai giggled.

Keina wants to bond more with her grandma's but kailangan na nilang makauwi ng maaga. She really growned up at her young age sa mga nakaraan kasing taon, she always had the long face whenever Mom bid her goodbyes.

"Goodbye po. Take care!" magalang niyang paalam.

Makalipas lamang ang ilang minuto nasa bisig na siya ni Eric. After putting her on the bed pumasok na kami sa master beedroom.

I was fixing the white blanket on my legs as I rested my head on the headboard, Eric too.

"Are you really sure to marry me?" his brows knit turning onto me.

"Of course, baby!" he moved a little closer to me tsaka kinabig ako papalapit sa kanya and planted a soft kiss on my forehead. "And no one could ever change that decision of mine. Why'd you ask?"

His dark and low voice made me giggled.

"Baka kasi napipilitan ka lang na pakasalan ako dahil sa bata, you can still backout pa naman, our marriage is still two weeks pa," I was fiddling on my hand, looking downcast.

I heard him tsked. He face me with a questionable look.

"Nah," he shook his head. He held my hands and lifted my chin para magtama ang mga mata namin. "Lahat ng naging desisyon kong may kinalaman sa 'yo ay hindi pilit."

I feel at ease on his words.

"You know what, abot langit ang saya ko ng malamang buntis ka na sa mga panahong iyon," he evily grin. "Because you have the reason para tanggapin ako ulit,"

I smiled and closed my eyes as he slowly lean his face to me. It was a deep and passionate kiss leading us to end on something.

The marriage was successful and that was one of the happiest day of my life. I already had everything I wanted.

"Smile!" the photographer commanded. We were still wearing gown and tux ng sabihan kaming magpicture.

"Kiss naman kayo," a man from the table shouted.

I scratch my nape. Eric automatically leaned his perfect face. Ang isa talagang 'to. Napatawa nalang ako at nagpaubaya sa gusto nila.

"Congratulation to the newly wed Mr. and Mrs. Asterio!"

If we were really destined for each other, destiny will always find a way. And destiny's job was done, Eric and I were back together again.

He faded away because he wants to protect me from Railey's obsession because he purely loves me and if something might bad happen to me, it was his biggest downfall. And now his back, after settling everything, with the same reason.
