Chapter Twelve

"Ayos na ba lahat?" tanong ko ng paparating na sina Brent kasama si Mommy.

Today is her 60th birthday. And we were going to surprise her. All the things and foods are all set. Our whole family was complete from Mommy's side to Daddy's. Eric's family is already here too, he is only the one missing. I don't even know where he went up.

Tumango sila.

"Good, dahil paparating na sila!" I said excitedly.

I went up to my room to get my gift for her. As stepping the stairs I hummed Mom's favorite song. Exactly, when I putted it on the table. Brent used car 'Almera' beep a signed that they are already here. I signaled Bella to place on the door. She have something to do. I handed her the party popper. I also called Dad whose smiling now and presented him the cake.

"Good luck to us Dad!" I tap his shoulder and sit near the microphone. Hope it will be successful.

And the time they enter the house the party popper popped up on them. Tila'y nagulat siya sa mga pakanang ito. We sing her a happy birthday song together. Ang iba naman ay nagvi-video sa nangyari. Unti-unting lumalapit sa kanya si Dad na dala ang cake na nakasindi na ang kandila.

Bumalik na sa kanilang upuan ang mga bisita ng matapos si Mommy sa kanyang thank you speech. Nagkanya-kanya narin ng kuha ang iba ng mga pagkain.

Umalis ako sa tabi nila't pumwesto sa kaninang inuupuan ko malapit sa microphone. Inusog ko ito ng kaunti para mas lalo pa akong maging malapit. Hinigit ni Daddy sina Mommy at Brent sa may pagkainan.

Wait for me my love food. I have something to do pa. Bahala na yung diet ang importante kakain muna ako.
