Chapter Six

What does he mean? Is he telling the truth? I think I will be having a heart attack by what he confesses. The other part of my soul don't buy the words coming out on his mouth right now, baka kasi nagpapatawa lang siya. Mahirap ng umasa. Masakit na.

I widened my eyes looking at him. Still surprised but I saw him pouted on my reaction.

"I will court you!" namamaos ang tinig niya. That made my legs trembled. His words was pernicious on my normal trances. I automatically falter where I was standing. He really clarify it to me. "Let me show you that I am not fooling around. That I really feel for you! That my feelings towards you was real and pure!"

He seemed to have read my mind.

I gasped in air. My emotions was mixed. He also have a feelings for me too! Akalain mo yun? Our feeling towards each other ay mutual pala. That was flabbergasted. Kakatuwa! I was jubilant.

Yung mga ipinakita niyang mga matatamis na galaw sa mga nakaraang araw, Ay pinapahiwatig na niyang may nararamdaman nga siya sa akin. How fool I am not to notice that.

I bit my lower lip when I saw his jawline moved a bit, sexily. He licked his lips tapos tiningnan niya ako ng namumungay ang mga mata.

"S-Sir?" I stuttered. Sa lahat ng minutong lumipas iyon na lamang ang salitang lumabas sa bibig ko. For all the time I was definetly mum. There's really a tingling sensation inside I will feel whenever our gaze met. Parang teenager lang.

"You're so beautiful Bernadette, inside and out!" he lauded. "And that reason was enough why I'd fall for you!"

I blushed immediately. I was blown by that. It made my legs shuddered more.

Months passed still nothing change the way he treated me. He is the definition of a gentleman cantankerous. I didn't gave any response if I will let him to court me, but that doesn't hinder his plan. Kahit na ano pa man ang magiging pahayag ko, he will still pursued to court me.

He was courting me, patiently.  Letting me know his softest side. He purify that he isn't grumpy. May pa-surpresa siya bawat kita namin. And by just that, he never cease to amuse me.

But somehow in the house Ate Rosa resigned as our cook. Pumunta kasi ulit siya ng France. But Kuya Dante was still on us. Hindi na kami nag-hire ng taga-luto dahil lumuwag na ulit kasi ngayon ang mga schedule namin.

Basic also flew to Australia to live a better and new life together with her new family. Malayo sa mga banta ng buhay niya. After knowing kasi na may boyfriend na siya, someone send her a threats in her life, maybe from one of his bunch of wooers that really into her.

We were crying that much at the airport, it was too late for her to say that they were leaving. We could not even bond for the last time. And the heart breaking part is she isn't yet sure if they will ever come back here again. They will really staying there for good.

"Take care!" Diana mumbled with sobs.

Her face softened.

"I will miss you!" Rufilyn blubbered.

Her boyfriend let her face and talk to us for the last time at this moment while he was alone on the car carrying out their luggage.

"Farewell my friend. See you soon," I agonized and gave her my warmest and tightest hug.

I'm also not sure when I will hug her again. Even though we were only together for a few months, my heart became closer to her. She is kind and good-hearted so she is not difficult to be a
