Jia Yee was lying on her bed in her room, thinking back to the past from the time she started dating Max.Worst decision of her life.
Max, currently, was meeting Uncle Lao Shen because he didn't want to leave. And Uncle Lao Shen was having a hard time trying to get Max to leave. Jia Jia was in her own room, sulking and thinking bad things about Max most probably.
Jia Yee sighed glumly, "...Why must you appear in my life again, Max?"
While she was deep in her thoughts, someone knocked on her door.
"Hey, Jia Yee." Junkai said.
Jia Yee stared into space, in her own dreamland. Junkai looked around her room awkwardly, waiting for her to realise he was in there.
When she didn't, he walked to her side and sat beside her in the bed.
The weight of his body made the bed shrink in and let Jia Yee know there was an intruder in her room. She looked up and jumped, "Oh my gosh! Since when were you in here Junkai??"
"Hi." Junkai smiled, waving a little, "...I hope I'm not disturbing you. Uhm..ah.. are you okay?"
"Hmm yeah I'm okay. Why?" Jia Yee smiled back, shrugging.
"Ah it's.. cuz you saw your uhm...ex-boyfriend..and so...I was wondering if you were okay."
Jia Yee kept quiet for a few long minutes before she finally sighed and said, "Why did he have to appear?"
Junkai took Jia Yee's hand in his slowly and hesitantly and when she didn't shrug his hand off, he gained confidence and held her hand tightly.
"How did he find out you were here?" Junkai asked.
"Jia Jia and I were just shopping because um...Valentine day's coming." Jia Yee smiled sheepishly.
Junkai laughed, "Buying chocolates for us?"
"No." Jia Yee said sarcastically. Then she continued, "And then we bumped into him. Apparently he was on a school trip. So yeah, here he is."
"...Do you think...he still likes you?" Junkai asked quietly.
"No. He's a playboy. Even if he likes me, I won't like him." Jia Yee said firmly.
"That's good to hear." Junkai smiled happily, then ruffled Jia Yee's hair, "C'mon. Let's not talk about that guy. Let's talk about something else okay?"
"Okay."
