Chapter 37

"I am being kind enough to not sue you, Mr Lao Shen."

"But sir, your daughter wanted this. Can't you help them realize their dreams? By letting them stay?" Uncle Lao Shen pleaded.

The Twins' mum held her husband's arm as she muttered, "We never encouraged them to be singers. I really don't think they should stay. This whole idol thing can ruin their lives forever..."

"Or it could make them happy forever." Uncle Lao Shen interjected.

"No. That is my last answer. I am taking them back." Their father said with an authority tone. He stood up, grabbing his phone from the coffee table and glared at Uncle Lao Shen.

"And don't you dare keep them back."

With that finality in his tone, he turned and stomped out of the room with his wife following behind him, bowing to Uncle Lao Shen.

Uncle Lao Shen sighed, "Can't be helped then..."

Their father stomped into the hospital room with a dark face.

'Uh oh.' Was Jia Jia's first thought.

Then Uncle Lao Shen entered after that and her next thought was, 'We're so dead.'

Jia Yee noticed the dark aura her dad has and opened her mouth to try and ease his tension.

"Don't. Speak." Her father said through gritted teeth, holding up a finger.

Then he took in a deep breath to calm himself down as he laid the news upon them.

"You are going home."

After three days of begging their parents to let them stay (with no success), the twins finally gave up and decided to just follow their parents home, as sad as it may be.

So right now, as they were going home in 2 days time, the couples decided to spend some time alone with each other.

(Of course you should know that the girls' parents flipped out when they heard their two daughters were dating.)

-Junkai and Jia Yee-
They were sitting on Jia Yee's bed, in silence. Junkai was playing Jia Yee's hair, twirling it around and around his fingers.

"Junkai..." Jia Yee spoke up, breaking the comfortable silence.

"Hmm..?" Junkai asked as he finally stopped playing with Jia Yee's hair and put an arm around her waist, pulling her closer to him.

He hugged her tightly, nuzzling his nose in her hair as he sighed, "I'll miss you so much..."

"I will too..." Jia Yee mumbled as she closed her eyes, cherishing the last few moments with Junkai.

"Will we still keep in contact?" Junkai mumbled, laying his head on her shoulder.

Jia Yee melted in his hold comfortably as she smiled at him, and chirped, "Nope!"

Junkai put on a pouty face and turned Jia Yee around in his hold until she's sitting on his lap.

He cuddled with her like she was a baby and he stared into her eyes, "You're not keeping in touch??"

His lower lips quivered with fake sadness.

Jia Yee giggled as she nuzzled her nose with Junkai's, "Of course we will! What are you saying?? Even if I were on the other side of the world, with many handsome guys falling all over my feet..."

"Hey!" Junkai protested.

"...You will still be first in my heart." Jia Yee finished, smiling at Junkai, making his heart melt.

Junkai sighed contentedly as he laid his forehead on hers as he whispered, "You're the queen of my life."

And he leaned down and caught her lips, both of them sharing a sweet kiss.

-Qian Xi and Jia Jia-
Jia Jia was sitting on the floor, looking at photo albums that she had collected over the months that she had stayed at China. They were all filled with pictures of her family here at China...TF Family.

Qian Xi was looking at the albums with her and they were having fun reminiscing.

When they were finally finished, Qian Xi scooted closer to Jia Jia and laid his head on her lap.

He stared up into her beautiful brown orbs as he reached up a hand to caress her cheek.

Jia Jia sighed, as she stroked Qian Xi's hair.

"I wish you didn't need to leave." Qian Xi said suddenly, as he grabbed Jia Jia's hand that was free and just holding it tightly.

"I wish I didn't need to leave too."

Qian Xi raised her hand to his lips as he planted a soft long kiss there while staring up into Jia Jia's eyes, conveying how much he loved her.

"I love you too..." Came out of Jia Jia's mouth before she could realize what she just said.

She turned red with embarrassment but didn't say anything to cover up what she just said.

Qian Xi grinned as he held Jia Jia's hand tighter and that's when he realized there was a ribbon tied around her wrist.

His ribbon.

Their ribbon.

"You still have this?" He asked, trying to cover up the smile that was appearing on his face.

"Huh? Of course!" Jia Jia said.

Qian Xi chuckled and said, "Good. Because I still have mine." He raised his own wrist that had the same ribbon tied around his wrist.

He pulled Jia Jia into a hug though it was awkward because he was lying on her lap.
