Chapter 19

-School-

"Then he-" the twins were talking to Tian Shi in class. Jia Jia didn't go to school for a few days because she fell sick due to the rain incident. So she had a lot of things to catch up on.

"And so they-" Tian Shi continued, ignoring the fact that she was disturbing Jia Jia.

Jia Yee was teaching Jia Jia the things she has missed out on but after getting interrupted countless of times by Tian Shi, she sighed and gave up.

"Just copy everything." Jia Yee muttered in annoyance.

Fen Guang, Siao Lan and Nuo Shan coincedently were there at that moment. They were the three new students of the school and somehow had become one of the most popular girls.

"Copying? Oh no no, that is a bad thing to teach this shortie." Fen Guang mocked, patting Jia Jia's head.

Jia Jia and Jia Yee chose to ignore Fen Guang.

"Ah by the way, Jia Jia, Jia Yee, do you think I...can..." Tian Shi looked down shyly. The twins looked up from their works suspiciously.

"What?" Jia Yee asked.

"Do...do you think I can go visit TF Dorm?" Tian Shi said, looking at them with puppy eyes.

Before the twins could even answer, Nuo Shan jumped in and smirked, "Of course! The boys will be delighted to see you!"

"But Uncle Lao Shen said no visitors from school are allowed!" Jia Jia protested.

"So what? We live only once so we gotta have some fun and break those rules!" Siao Lan snickered, bumping hips with Fen Guang.

"No way! Sorry Tian Shi but you can't come!" Jia Yee exclaimed, shaking her head.

"Fine. If you don't want to bring her, we'll bring her." Fen Guang smirked and pulled Tian Shi to her.

"Are you fine with that?" Siao Lan asked. Tian Shi looked at the twins once before turning around and walking away with the three girls. This left Jia Jia and Jia Yee speechless.

"Of course." Tian Shi said.

"What the..." Jia Jia trailed off. She sighed and continued doing her work with Jia Yee teaching her.

"Tian Shi!" Jia Yee called when she saw the familiar face. The girl turned around, took one look at her and looked away.

"Hey!" Jia Yee tried again.

"Aish...what's wrong with her?" Jia Yee muttered, turning and walking the other way.

-At TF Company-

"1, 2, 3, 4, 1, 2..." the dance teacher said while dancing. The twins and the 19th group were following his every move but Jia Yee was distracted.

She twirled around but tripped and twisted her ankle. Pain shot up her left calf, "Ugh.."

"Ah Jia Yee, are you okay?" The teacher quickly stopped the music and rushed to her. Jia Jia went to her side and looked at her calf.

"I think I sprained my ankle." Jia Yee sighed, blinking back tears.

'Ugh..first I lost a friend...now this.' Jia Yee thought to herself.

"What happened to you? Usually, you were very good!" The dance teacher exclaimed.

"Its cause Tian Shi doesn't want to be your friend anymore, isn't it?" Nuo Shan asked.

Fen Guang said,"She told us sooo many things about you guys. Such as how your boyfriend dumped you because of-"

"Shut up, Fen Guang." Tfboys were there at the right moment. Junkai saw that Jia Yee was about to cry so he interrupted Fen Guang.

"I-" Fen Guang started.

"Shut up! You're mean and just likes to make them cry, haven't you done enough?" Junkai snapped as he walked towards Jia Yee.

"Stop disturbing them already. You try breaking their secret, I'll break yours. About how your father is a friend of one of the directors of TF and-" Junkai stared Fen Guang down until she couldn't stand it anymore.

"Okay okay! I won't break their secret! Geez..." Fen Guang snorted angrily.

"Good. Cause if you do, you know what will happen...." Junkai picked up Jia Yee and turned to walk out the door.

"...The end for you at TF." Junkai finished his sentence and walked out of the room.

Jia Jia was about to run after them but Yuan stopped her, "Let him take care of her."

"Yeah. And...you just got better. You should rest. Teacher, whyhnare you making her dance?" Qian Xi asked, staring the dance teacher down.

"I-I... it's because...argh! Qian Xi, stop looking at me like that! Okay kids, half an hour break since Qian Xi demands it." The teacher pouted. Qian Xi grinned, "Thanks!"

Then he turned and pulled Jia Jia hands, "Let's get you something to drink!"

"Hey, I'll hold her hand!" Yuan protested, grabbing Jia Jia's hands.

"Huh...I thought you gave up on her because of Zhi Hong?" Qian Xi asked, raising an eyebrow.

"In your dreams I'm giving Jia Jia up! Now let go!" Yuan said.

"Fine fine. Sorry!" Qian Xi laughed. Jia Jia laughed along with Qian Xi.

Junkai had brought Jia Yee to the infirmary of the company. But the usual nurse wasn't there.

So Junkai tried to do first aid for Jia Yee by himself. His first time.

"Uh...like this..? Or... uhm..." Junkai muttered to himself while trying to figure out the first aid.

Jia Yee looked at Junkai's flustered face and tried to suppress her giggle...which failed miserably. She ended up doubling over with laughter.

"Hey! Don't laugh at me! I saved you, you know..." Junkai sulked, still trying to figure out things. At last, he gave up and asked, "Do you know how to use this?"

Jia Yee laughed even louder and showed him how to use the bandage. Junkai finally got a hang of it and started to help Jia Yee with her leg. When Jia Yee fell, she also scraped her knee.

Jia Yee stared at Junkai's serious face, blushing, and thought, 'Why do I find him so cute?'

Junkai finished whatever he was doing and smiled happily, "Yes! I did it! Jia Yee, I did it!"

He looked up and they realised their face were just a few inches away from each other.

'Too close.' Jia Yee thought and quickly looked away.

"Uh...sorry. Thanks, Junkai." Jia Yee smiled. Junkai's face was extremely red as he mumbled a welcome.

They sat there in awkward silence for a few minutes that felt like years.

"I..uh...better get going." Jia Yee stammered. Junkai looked up and exclaimed, "I'll take you to where you want to go."

"Jia Yee!! How are you?! You okay?!" Zi Yu came bursting into the infirmary.

Zi Yu's sudden intrusion caused Jia Yee  to stumble and fall.

Junkai, with quick reflexes, tried to catch Jia Yee and they ended up falling in the bed with Junkai over Jia Yee.

Zi Yu stared at them for a few seconds before his eyes flashed with hurt and betrayal. He looked at Junkai, "I'm sorry my timing was bad."

Zi Yu turned to leave and ran out.

"Zi Yu!!"
