WARNING: blood + gore

DAENERYS TARGARYEN ;

Daenerys knew she'd made a mistake. Letting you leave and not following you, leaving you to your deprecating thoughts of worth. It broke her heart to even imagine you sitting alone and thinking that she saw herself above you. Dany forced her breathing to settle, the shaky inhale echoing off the purple marble walls as she weaves between rooms to find you. Missandei had told her you were currently in the fragrant pools by her chambers, and she was determined to find you and set things right again.

"[Y/N]," she calls into the room, and there you sat, your bare feet dipped into the pools, kicking your toes, and pointedly ignoring her presence. Daenerys heaves a small sigh and casts her eyes down, unable to look at you for too long, lest she remembers the hurt in your eyes before you barricaded them with steel.

Deciding to say nothing, Dany slides off her sandals and softly pads towards you, laying to your left and sinking her feet into the cool water, goose-pimples raising on her legs and arms from the chill. She lets the silence linger in the air, slowly shifting her feet in the water till they touch yours, only halting for a moment when you tense up and then relax again. "You know I never meant it like that." She whispers, staring ahead at the surrounding greenery. Her voice though it was barely whispered, echoed loudly and Dany fought the urge to cringe.

 You remain silent and all hopes swirling in her stomach deflate, the weight of your angst forcing her shoulders to dip. Then you speak, voice barely heard. "I know." Awkwardly turning your head to meet hers, you nervously smack your lips together and smile without your eyes. "It's just hard sometimes," you trail off and Daenerys leans her head to rest on your shoulder. Her silver-gold hair tickles where it touches your skin and you rest your head on top of hers, both of your bodies angled towards each other.

"I'll do better, I know I can." You can hear the smile in her voice, and it brings a contagious one to your face. You know she will try, and the soft, quiet moments only the two of you share mean more to you than anyone could ever know. Everyone else can have Daenerys Stormborn, the Queen, you just want Dany.

Her fingers interlock with yours, gently toying with your fingers and you tangle your legs with hers in the water, the dress you'd bunched up by your waist, spilling at the movement and soaking against the water, but you didn't care. "Where are your bells?" You ask, toying with her hair, lacking the Dothraki victory bells. Daenerys smiles widely at you, all teeth, and crinkled eyes. "I didn't want them to alert you of my presence so you could run away." Her small giggles vibrate into you and soon, you're both laughing against each other, the pain of earlier brushed away and long forgotten.

VISERYS TARGARYEN ;

The night had long since turned dark, and you resigned to sitting among the stars in a sullen mood, the long grass tickling your shoulders and hiding you away from the world. Viserys arrogance never fails to surprise you, but you were drawing on your last nerve to deal with it any longer. With a huff you unfold in the grass, flattening a space amongst the grass to fully recline. Letting the breeze lull you gently, a sharp rustle to your side have you springing to your elbows.

His silver hair was like starlight in the dark. Viserys was too ostentatious to ever be subtle. His face would twitch every time something untimely brushed his leg, scowling at the small bugs that buzzed around him angrily, unsettled by his disturbance, and when he reached you, he made no effort to lay down. You sat up slowly, but you refused to stand, the rebellious part of you wanting to force him to sit amongst the grass like a savage.
