Not much time had passed when the Vice Principal escorted Cambria and me outside of the Principal's office. Upon arriving, she sat down at her desk and informed us to sit and wait until we got called. We followed her request and took our seat. As soon as we got ourselves situated, Cambria took my hand and intertwined our fingers. An instant warmth filled my heart while I felt her thumb gently caress the back of my hand. My eyes closed, never wanting this to end. This is perfect.

"Ms. Jones and Ms. Nova, please join me in my office." I heard the Principal, Mr. Ivy, announce. Excellent job, Mia. You just had to jinx it. Now she's probably going to let my hand go.

Cambria stood up, and to my surprise, she helped me, never letting go of my hand. We made our way into his office and stood before him, awaiting the consequences of the fight earlier. Unfortunately, there's no way I could have relaxed yet because I could see Vivian sitting in one of the three chairs. It seemed as though I would have to sit next to her. No, I can't do that.

My body began to tense up, and I tightened my grip on Cambria's hand. She placed her free hand over our already joined ones and suddenly switched our positions. Now she was right next to Vivian instead of me. I swear Cambria can read my mind.

"You both may take a seat." He told us, and we listened to him.

When we sat down, Cambria held my hand again. I saw Mr. Ivy had glanced at her movement, and it seemed like it didn't bother him. That's good... I don't want him to make her release my hand... Vivian made her feelings known by emoting a disruptive scoff towards us. At this notion, Cambria gently tightened her grip, reassuring me.

"First of all, I would like to begin by saying how sorry I am, Mia." He said, making me look at him dumbfoundedly. Surely this is my fault... nothing is making sense today. It's not like Vivian will get in trouble... she never does...

"Um, excuse me?" Vivian objected, sounding utterly annoyed at Mr. Ivy.

"That's enough out of you, Ms. Sanders. Don't you think you have caused a sufficient amount of trouble as of late?" He questioned her.

"No. I was defending myself, like always." She answered him, obviously lying about everything.

"If only that were true." Mr. Ivy retorted and looked at both of us with a sincere expression.

"What is that supposed to mean?" Vivian asked snarkily.

"I am expelling you, Ms. Sanders," He said and looked over at her sternly.

"You have no right!" She screeched, raising her voice at him.

"As of today, you are no longer welcome on school grounds. I also have-"

"You can't do that! My parents won't let you. They own you!" Vivan yelled, interrupting Mr. Ivy as she stood up.

"Vivian, sit down now," He said, raising his voice slightly. She had no choice but to do as he told her.

"As I was saying... I have already contacted your parents and informed them of everything you have done to Ms. Nova." He concluded.

"You can't. There's no way it'll stick!" She shouted at him. My attention got torn from the two of them when Mr. Ivy's door opened.

"Brittany?" I voiced, confused. Okay. What the hell is going on here?

"Hello Mia, Cambria, Sir," She said, greeting us all, except for Vivian.

"Hello again, Ms. Sanders." Mr. Ivy spoke, greeting her as my mouth dropped. If I was confused before, I have no idea what I am now...

"I'm very sorry to be rude, but can someone please explain what is going on?" I blurted out.
