Move day was finally here! I had been looking forward to this day all week, and now it was here i was sick! I had been up since about 3am being sick and going hot and cold, at about 4:30am i had fallen asleep propped up against the toilet! I remember Jai picking me up and putting me in bed again.
"Morning" he said sitting down in the edge of the bed and stroking my arm "how are you feeling?"
"Awful" i moaned "I'm sorry, i was really looking forward to today" suddenly i felt the urge to be sick again "Jai move quick!" I said getting out of bed and running to the toilet, Jai walked in and held my hair back "you don't need to do that"
"Im helping you out"
"Just leave me here, i'll be ok"
"Babe your hugging the toilet" he smiled at me "i don't mind helping out".
I was surprised when Ava and Jax turned up "i got some of my guys to come help you move" Jax told us "thanks i owe you" Jai said looking slightly less stressed "And I'm here to look after the patient" Ava added happily.
"Keep your distance, you don't want to catch this" i reminded her, what with her being pregnant too. Id hate for her to get this while being pregnant.
"I'll be careful don't worry".
"Babe just go back to bed, i'll come and wake you up when we're ready to clear the bedroom furniture"
"Okay, but if you need me to help...."
"Bed!" He told me "we can cope".
He leant in to kiss me and held i up a hand to stop him "I'm contagious! I don't want you getting it"
"I'll take my chances" he smirked and kissed me gently.
I went back up to bed as instructed, Ava came and laid with me while the guys got on with the move.
I got under the duvet and snuggled in, i was so cold i felt like i was shivering. I hadn't felt this ill in ages it was horrible.
"How long you felt like this?"
"It started about 3 this morning"
"Do you think its something you ate?"
"Maybe, i don't know. Please don't talk about food right now" i said moaning, the thought of eating made we wanna be sick again "I'm just saying if you had chicken that wasn't cooked properly....." Ava started saying, it tipped me over the edge, i leapt out of bed and just made it to the bathroom!
"Maddie I'm sorry! I didn't mean to make you sick again"
"I told you to stop"
"Sorry thats my bad" she looked really guilty when i came back out and crawled into bed.
"I'm gonna try and sleep for a while" i told her snuggling back in. "Do you want me to get you anything?" Ava offered "no thanks I'm good, I'm just gonna sleep it off" i smiled at her.
I don't remember anything after that, i must have fallen asleep.
When Jai woke me up it the bedroom was empty, the only thing left was the bed i was in.
"You feeling better?" He asked
"A bit, hows the move going?"
"All done, just gotta get the bed down and loaded"
"Ok, id better get up then" i sat up and realised i was feeling a lot better. Jax walked in with a couple of guys and took the bed out, i went downstairs with Jai and we stood looking at the empty room "I'm going to miss this place" i say to him cuddling up to him "so many good memories, i'll never forget our first date here"
"Me either, one of the best days of my life"
"Yeah me too, but we'll make more memories in our new home" i smiled at him, he leant down and kissed me and then we left....ready to start our life together.
