I woke up to find Jai stroking my belly, i stretched and turned to face him "morning" i said sleepily, he smiled and kissed me softly "morning". He stroked my belly again "so I'm gonna be a daddy?" He asked
"Yeah.... Are you ok with that?"
"Its a bit of a shock...."
"Your telling me'" i added
"But I'm ok with that" he smiled "really?"
"Yeah" he nodded "you didn't think i would be?"
"I thought it might freak you out, scare you off"
"Nothing would scare me away from you" he said "i love you, and i'll love this baby"
"You have no idea how much that means to me Jai" i say sitting up and kissing him "i love you too by the way" i smile.
"Where is she?" I heard Ava say when Jai opened the door.
"She's in the kitchen"
"Hey bro, you doing okay?" Jax asked Jai "as well as can be expected, Maddison's still pretty shaken up but we're getting there"
Ava came running in and wrapped her arms around me "jesus Mad's are you okay?"
"Im fine Ava, just shaken up"
"I cant believe that bastard would do this!"
"Me either" i shrugged, Jax walked in and gave me a hug "hey darlin, u doing okay?"
"Yeah I'm getting there" i said smiling, Jai came and sat next to me on the sofa.
"If we had come over sooner..." Ava started to say but i cut her off "stop, you cant blame yourself. Ive told Jai the same thing, this is no ones fault but Josh's"
"Your handling this better than i would" Ava said shaking her head. "I just have to concentrate on whats important right now, i cant fall apart...." I started to say and looked at Jai, he nodded his approval. "Ava, I'm pregnant"
"Your pregnant??" She was shocked, Jax smiled and shook hands with Jai "congrats man, scary shit ain't it?" He laughed
"Your not kidding! But I'm happy about it"
"Ava....what do you think?" I had to ask, she was being too quiet. "Honestly, i think its a bit fast.... But its great news Mad's" she smiled and hugged me "we can be bump buddies"
"Yay" i laughed.
"If i didn't know how much Jai loved you id say you were crazy to be doing this.... But you two don't take anything slow"
"Its been a crazy couple of months but i know its right" i smiled at Jai with so much love.
"Im gonna go clean the bedroom and call the security company, I'm getting the whole system changed. I want you to feel safe here again".
"Thanks babe" i smiled as he went off to the bedroom, Jax followed him to help out.
"So how far along are you?" Ava asked me "I'm not sure yet, i need to go see the doctor. I cant be too far behind you"
"Im happy for you Maddi, really i am"
"Im scared shitless" i laughed "what if I'm a bad mother?"
"You'll be a great mum you've got nothing to worry about"
"I guess the first thing i need to sort out is finding a doctor"
"I'll give you the number for my doctor, shes great"
"Thanks that'd be good".
We spent the rest of the day sitting around chatting, Jai cooked dinner for everyone, he and Jax had a couple of beers while Ava and I fell asleep.

I had just got off the phone booking in to see the doctor and get a scan, i walked into Jai's office and sat waiting for him to finish his call. "okay, i look forward to it too. Love you mum, bye" he hung up and looked at me "you ok?" I asked
"My parents are coming to visit"
"Oh" i hadn't met them yet what with them being in Australia "did you tell them about the baby?" I asked
"No not yet" he let out a breath "their only coming to nose around the house"
"We'd best make sure its up to scratch then" i laughed "they do know i live here right?"
"Erm...."
"Jai!..." I looked horrified and he laughed "of course i have"
"Thats not funny" i shook my head trying not to laugh "when do they arrive?"
"They should be here Thursday" he said "You book in at the doctors?"
"Yeah they've fit me in tomorrow"
"That soon?" He looked down at his schedule "what time?"
"11:00am, its ok if your busy i can go on my own. Or get Ava to go..."
"Definitely not!" He said interrupting me "I'm not missing this, i want to be there. I want to be there through all this kinda stuff... Its our first time being parents Mad's"
"Okay, I'm glad you'll be there. I was just saying if you had things you couldn't get out of..."
"My family comes first" he smiled "i had some interview thing but i'll reschedule it".
"If your sure...."
"100%" he got up and came over to kiss me, then bent down and kissed my belly.
"Oh and we've got the guys coming in tomorrow afternoon to do the alarm system"
"Ok, thats good" id feel better when that was done "I'm gonna go for a swim" i said getting up, i loved that we had our own pool!
"I might join you once I've finished up in here"
"Hurry up then" i smiled and went to get my bikini on.
"Screw it, i'll finish this later" he laughed following me out to the bedroom.
