as i plucked out the thorns from your body,

i looked at all of your copies.

they looked just like you,

but they didn't have those shades of dark blue.

all red and dressed up you were,

but seeing you happy somehow made me hurt.

i put your petals on fire waiting for them to burn,

coz no matter how hard i tried, your love was something i couldn't earn.

as i watched the fire slowly die,

i thought what if this was a mistake and something i couldn't make right.

oh rose~ i thought you would bring me love,

but i killed you with my touch.

i turned around to go away from you and your dead body,

and there lied, lily,

as my eyes lay on her, i will love her,

thats what i thought but i very well knew that the tables will soon turn.
