Will You Save Me?

Alyssa's POV 

This is my downfall I guess. This is the part when I have a breakdown. I had to let my feelings out, there was no excuse now. I turned to Ross. "Ross, there's something I really need to tell you." He nodded his head in response. 

"I'm still in love with you." I tried to look down but I couldn't bear to break eye contact. My first instint was to look at his lips, the lips that I haven't touched in 6 months. Everyone was silent. "I haven't stopped loving you since the day we met 3 years ago." He said barley above a whisper. 

My lips curved into a smile and my cheeks felt warm, I was blushing. He smiled with his teeth showing, something I hadn't seen alot since we broke up. 

"I tried to use Nash as a distraction I thought I would fall in love but I couldn't so I went to Matt because I really liked him. And I mean I love him but that video, I wished it was you and I've been wishing all of this was you for months." 

He grabbed my hands that were folding together my hands were laced together with themselves. He placed his hand on top of mine rubbing his thumb in circles across the top of my hand. I starred down at his ring with the R in gold on it. I starred at it for a few more seconds. 

"Where did you buy that?" I asked still looking at the ring. He smiled his hand still on top of mine, "Why?" I looked up at him his brown eyes starring into me. "I want one, with an A on it. So it can be a forever ring. Unlike a promise ring, it doesn't have to be all fancy. It's simple and no one would know." 

"I'll get you one." He said. I gave a little smile. I looked at the rest of them and gave out a laugh/cry. Like when your cryin and someone tries to make you laugh. Ross let go of my hand, he knew me. I got up and went to Rydel she stood up and wrapped me in the hug I was about to do. 

She spun me around a bit, she would always do that. "I've missed my best friend so much." I said holding onto her forearms not wanting to let go. "I've missed you more hun. It's so alone on tour without you." I smiled remembering the memories. "It's been emtpy without you guys." 

My room still had pictures with them but no couple pictures since I have a boyfriend. I shifted my eyes to Riker she smiled, nodded and let go of me. Riker stood up since he saw his cue. 

He wrapped me in the biggest hug in the world, his arm were basically wrapped around his own, he was holding me so tight to him. I started crying, crying into his light weight Holister t-shirt under his unzipped sweatshirt. 

It seemed like a very long hug. "My baby sister." He said releasing me and kissing me on the forehead. Rydel threw her arms up in a joking way. "Uhm I haven't seen her in 6 months" Riker teased back to Rydel, she smiled. 

"I haven't been able to survive without your advice. As you can tell." He nodded. "Ill help you, I promise"

I hugged Rocky and Ellington both practically crying into them then I sat down next to Ross again and he placed his hand on my wrist close to my hand. And I spilled everything out to them, everything from the moment I left Ross' house to the minute I called Ross today. 

"What do I do?" I finially said putitng my focus on the rug beneath me. Rydel spoke up. "Just stay with Matt for now." I saw Ross' face sink and Delly saw it too. "Ross, I love you brother but you can't complain. You broke up with her and you went on tour. You both have to do what you have to do. She has a big carreer now and if Matt makes her happy then he will." 

Ross didn't make eye contact with her and of course I didn't know what to do. "If you ever doubted I would still love you after your tour, don't worry I'll still be here waiting for you." 

He leaned over, since he was so much taller than me and kissed my forehead. I grabbed his hand and didnt't want to let go. He could tell because he put his other hand ontop of mine. 

No matter how hard Matt tried he would never be Ross. No matter how hard I tried he would never be Ross. No one could replace him and no best friend could replace these guys. 

"How long do I have to wait?" I asked. "The tour is only about half over." Riker said not looking up. "You guys are gonna have to visit." I said giving a little laugh. "And I'm gonna have to text you daily." Ratliff stood up. "YESS! I missed your texts so much" He ran up to me and gave me a hug. Ross had let go of my hand. 

I hugged Ell back. "I missed you guy's texts too." I replied. "Let's start up that group chat again!" Riker exclaimed flipping on his phone and checking to see if he still had it. I smiled and a tear rolled down my face. Riker looked up. 

"Sis, why are you crying?" He said standing up. Ross stood up and stood behind me, protecting me. "I've missed this so much." I hugged Riker by suprise. He was soo much taller than me, they all were. Since I was only 5'4. He put his hand on my head stroking my hair. 

"Don't worry lyssie, We won't ever leave you again." He said his head resting on top of mine. Ross hugged me from behind. Then Rocky, Rydel and Ell joined. And that was the best hug I've ever had in my entire life.
