To my friends and colleagues?
Dear?
Whatever it is, I'll try
Dear you,
I won't name you
But you know who you are
I'm writing to say this
I miss you
I miss your smile
I miss your hugs
The late night texts we sent
Whispered 'I love yous'
Each kiss we shared
It's been some time since we spoke
It almost feels like years
Separated by something unknown
A disagreement?
Or something entirely different
Sometimes I catch myself thinking
What life might be like
If we never left each other
Would we still be happy?
Would we still be in love?
I don't know if you'll read this
But I really hope you do
I miss you more than anything
And some part of me hopes
That you miss me too
