Katherine walked inside my room while I was getting ready for the university, I was done with my hair and makeup, I rushed to get a pair of a black tee and black shorts, it was really hot and I wasn't going to survive in jeans, gladly our university dint have much of a dress code, because if we weren't allowed shorts, I would have to wear a dress and that was so uncomfortable.

I put on my canvas shoes and grabbed my backpack as kitty and I headed outside, today she dint come with her car so we both drove in mine.

"Do you want to talk about... you know Zion?" She asked nervously.

"No Kitty, I don't want to talk about anything related to Zion." I replied.

"Are you disappointed that we dint find out anything that day at the mall?" She asked, why was she asking me obvious questions?

"Yes I am disappointed, and I am disappointed in you as my best friend, you know why I don't talk about him, and you just bring up the topic for no reason and it reminds of the only times I've ever been weak." I avoided looking her.

Zion used to be my best friend, he was the only guy I was ever friends with in fact because I usually avoided anything to do with guys but Zion was different, he wasn't like every other guy out there, and now he was dead.

I blinked my eyes severally because I realized my eyes becoming moist and I dint want to cry, yes I know, I was strong and all but when it came to my friends and family, I was the weakest person ever although I dint show it.

"He wouldn't stop parking his car here would he?" I groaned as I saw Arnav's car parked next to mine, I just ignored it and stepped out of mine followed by Kitty.

We both had different classes today so she headed to hers while I headed to mine, there were a few students in the class already, I sat down and waited for the professor who arrive in no time and I was really glad that today Arnav wasn't in my class.

Stefan and Karthik were, obviously along with Caroline and Bonnie but I was happy at no sight of Arnav, at least I wouldn't spent the day just being angry.

I concentrated on the board and wrote down my notes, I had a lot of pending assignments, I know it had been two days since we started but I dint do any of my assignments, I was just help up with my anger but now I had to finish them tonight.

Once the period was over, I grabbed my books and headed out, I had a fifteen minutes break before my next class.

"Khushi, wait!" I heard Caroline shout as she ran towards me.

"Why are you here, I thought you'd be inside flirting with Stefan." I smiled at her and turned around to walk while she followed me.

"You don't like him do you?"

"I don't like any guys ever Caroline, you should have known that but if you're asking about yourself, he doesn't seem bad and you shouldn't stop anything because of the fight between me and Arnav, the rest of the guys have nothing to do with it.
