One year later
"Come on, hija. You're gonna be late." I smiled bago bumaba. It was our graduation day today. Finally, graduate na ako ng Senior High. I'm going to college next year.
Mabilis akong bumaba kahit nakaheels ako. Tita smiled when she saw me and she pulle me into a hug.
I was wearing a checkered coordinate. Wala namang sinabi ang school about what to wear. It was a venus cut longsleeve and a plated skirt. The heels were a 5 inchs killerheels. My hair was cut short and curled. Mas gusto ko kasi na maliit ang buhok ko.
I smiled when I saw the man of my life standing infront of us. He opened his hands widely and i went to him with a hug.
"Congrats, baby." I smiled bago hinigpitan ang yakap dito.
Nauna sila Tita sa sasakyan nila. Kami naman ay dumiretso sa sasakyan ni Moie. He opened the door for me. My toga and hat was placed on the backseat. Maingat itong nakalapag sa upuan. I smiled when I saw the black toga. Para naman akong gagraduate ng college.
He started the engine. Hanggang sa biyahe papuntang eskuwelahan his hands were on my thigh natawa pa ako kasi siya ang kinakabahan. Why would he be scared or nervous? Gagraduate lang naman ako.
Maputla siya and he kept on saying he didn't mean to. I smiled and caressed his hair.
"Relax." I said.
Nang makaabot kami sa eskuwelahan. I saw so many cars pawang mga mamahalin. We saw tito and tita's car park near the willow tree kaya doon kami sa gilid nila pumwesto. It was a good spot dahil nahaharangan ng puno ang init. The shade gave us a cool breeze.
Moie opened the door for me. Binuksan namin ang sa likod and I took out the toga. Sinuot ko iyon. I saw Beana waving at me. Her mom and dad was beside her. Halos attention ng lahat ay nasa nanay nito. Indeed her mom was beautiful. Kahit may edad na ito hindi mo maikakaila na sobrang ganda parin.
She ran to me and hugged me tight.
"You look amazing!" Sabay pa naming sigaw. We laughed matapos iyon.
Nagpaalam si Moie na pupunta lang saglit sa mga kaibigan niya. I saw Tita and Tito walk towards Beana's parents. Tila may pinaguusapan.
"What's with your man? Masyado mo atang pinakaba. He's really pale." Anito. Tumango naman ako. Lately he'd been like that. Laging maputla.
"I don't know." Ani ko.
We talked a little bit hanggang makita ko si Nike. Same with Beane, he was with his family. Nike gave me a hug and when he looked at Beana he hesitated. Buti nalang at ang kaibigan na ang yumakap dito.
"Don't be a shy type, Nike. Ngayon pa ba?" She smirked. Ibang-iba ang ngiti ni Beana sa mga ngiti niya noon.
Her smile made her think that she's planning something. The smirk on her lips faded when another person joined the group.
"Congrats sa inyo." Abby's jolly voice filled our circle.
I saw how Beana secretly rolled her eyes bago ngumiti ng peke dito.
"Salamat." I said in behalf of Beana. She excused herself, pupuntahan niya lang daw ang nanay niya.
Beana walked elegantly. She looked hot and stunning at the same time in her red strapless body con dress.
I saw how Nike's eyes followed her. Then he looked away and heaved a heavy sigh.
I looked at him at tila ba problemado ito.
