The crowd was full of gasps, confused noises, and questions.

The tech guy came onto the stage and asked Julie, "Hey, where'd the rest of the band go?"

"Wait. Were those holograms?" Carrie's friend in purple spoke up.

"Yes! Yes, they were holograms," Julie chuckles lightly. "Um, I plugged it into the ceiling projector before the show. I'd explain it, but it involves algorithms and science stuff."

The crowd applauses and collectively agrees that her response was genuine and made sense.

Luke says to the others from beside the stage on the ground, "That's wild. They could see us when we were playing, but not when the music ended."

Reggie jumps onto one of the steps, "We should double-check," he then proceeds to dance in the weirdest possible way he could by moving his butt in a circle a few times, "Yeah, I don't... I don't think they can see us."

"Reggie, cut it out," Lara laughed and waved him over to her.

Alex sighs, "I wish I couldn't see you."

The principle starts to talk again, "Ok, people, show's over. Let's get back to class, please."

Carrie pulls her friend, the one who spoke up, over to the side, "What was that? 'Were those holograms?'" She starts to mock the other girl while the purple one tries to defend herself.

Reggie walks over to them and tries to talk to the purple-haired girl, "Hey there. Hi. Reggie."

"What even is that? What was that?" Carrie continues to ask while the two girls start to walk out of the gym.

Reggie starts to walk with them, "Could I maybe call you sometime? What's your number?"

Lara glares at Reggie and Alex notices, he nudges her shoulder and she waves him off. The band walks away while Julie talks to her teacher.

In the hallway, the boys come up with a plan to surprise Julie.

"Ok, ok, she's coming if you want to get into formation do it now!" Lara whisper yelled when she saw Julie walk out of the gym. Luke jumped onto Reggie and Alex's legs while Lara stayed behind her brother to make sure he wouldn't fall.

"Julie!" The band all yelled when she came over to them.

She screams, "You! Stop doing that! I'm serious."

"Whoa! Whoa, whoa. This one's all on you. We were already here. Well, actually, we were over there, and then we came over here," Reggie grinned.

Lara whispered to herself, "He's got a point."

"Are we not gonna talk about what just happened?" Luke walked towards Julie with a huge grin on his face.

"Yeah, the whole school saw you. It's kinda freaking me out."

Alex sighed in relief, "Ok, good, 'cause it's kinda freaking me out too. You know, you can see us, and then people can see us whenever we play music. And my clothes are made of air, but for some reason, I'm still getting a wedgie. So many questions."

Lara rubs his back a little bit trying to calm him down, Luke tried to do the same.

"The important thing is that we rocked that place. They were loving you!" Luke beamed even more.

"Are you kidding? They loved us. That was a great song, Luke. Thanks."

Reggie looked to Luke, "And did you guys see the cheerleaders looking at me? I think they were looking at me. Please tell me they were."
