Luke walks into the studio, alone. Reggie is the first to ask.

"Where's Lara?"

"Calm down loverboy, she stayed home, she's sick."

"How did she get sick?" Reggie was becoming very concerned. He hadn't seen her all weekend, so Reggie was really looking forward to band practice that day.

Luke shrugged grabbing his notebook, "I don't know. Our cousin was sick when my aunt came to visit yesterday so she probably got it from her."

"Is she ok?"

"Mom told to her get some rest and wouldn't let her come to practice, the only reason why Lara agreed was because she could hardly stand."

"Luke, that sounds pretty bad," Alex leaned against an amp.

"She was sleeping when I left, so I'm sure she'll be ok soon, and mom is making her take medicine as soon as she wakes up."

Alex and Bobby nodded going to their instruments to start practice. Reggie didn't though.

"So we are just going to practice without Lara? I mean it's hardly band practice without the whole band here. Right guys?"

"Dude, Lara has most of the vocals for this song, and we just need to get some more practice with the cords. We don't have to have Lara to work on this song. She's got the vocals down already, we all need to catch up." Luke explained picking up his guitar. Reggie reluctantly grabbed his bass, beginning to play when Alex counted down. After the song was over Luke, Alex, and Bobby all shared a look.

Bobby spoke first, "Dude just go check on her."

"What? Why? Luke said she would be fine, so she'll be fine," Reggie fiddled with one of his rings.

Luke sighed, setting down his guitar, "Reggie, do you promise to work on this song some more this week?" He still didn't like the thought of Reggie liking his sister, but he also knew Reggie well enough that he wouldn't be able to focus while he was worrying about her.

"Ya, of course, Lara and I always have Tuesdays to get some extra work on songs together. I'm sure I'll have it by then."

"Ok, then go."

"Go? Go where?" Reggie asked, setting down his bass.

Alex groaned, "Go check on Lara and make her feel better."

"Oh oh right." He left the room, but came back in, "Should I bring her chicken noodle soup? My mom actually made some last night, and I know Lara loves it when she makes it."

"Yes you should bring her some soup, she probably would appreciate it. If she's up to eating anything," Alex said.

Reggie nodded and left again, taking off to his house.

Once he got there he rushed inside, finding his mom in the kitchen, "Mom can I bring some soup to Lara? She's sick."

"Ya sure sweetheart, but aren't you supposed to be at practice?"

"Lara's sick, mom. I need to make sure she's ok. Practice can wait." He heated up the soup and put it into a container, his mom grinned at his response and a few moments later Reggie was on his way to Lara's house.

He quickly arrived and walked into the house seeing Emily in the living room, knitting.

"Oh hello, Reggie. I thought you might stop by." She set aside her ball of yarn and grabbed a bottle of medicine. "Will you make Lara take this when you check on her please?"

"Yes ma'am," Reggie took the medicine and made his way to Lara's room, being as quiet as possible. He opened the door letting a little bit of light in making Lara groan.

"Go away, mom. I'm trying to sleep."

"Lara? It's me, Reggie." He stepped further into her room.

"Reg?" She poked her head out of her blanket, "Reggie!"

He chuckled, "I brought you some soup, and your mom said to take this medicine." He sat on her bed, next to the now sitting up Lara, who groaned at his words.

"Thank you for the soup, but that medicine tastes nasty. Don't make me take it, Reg. Come cuddle instead." She gave him a pout and sneezed.

Reggie handed her a tissue and chuckled again. "Well, Lara I'll only cuddle with you if you take this medicine."

"You're an evil man, Reg." She gasped, "Gimme that." She took the medicine and took it, immediately drinking some of the soup to take away the awful taste. "Is this your mom's soup?" Reggie nodded, "I love your mom's soup!"

"I know that's why I brought it to you."

"You're the best Reggie."

"Well my princess wasn't feeling well so I needed to give her something she would enjoy," he tucked a piece of fallen hair behind her ear.

Lara laughed but sneezed in the middle. Reggie moved near her and the two laid down.

"You're so warm," Lara said when she laid her head against his chest. Reggie gently laughed at this.

A few minutes later Lara was out and Emily came into the room. She peaked her head into the room seeing how gentle Reggie was holding her daughter. She also noticed Reggie had gotten her to take the medicine and eat something, which she had been failing to do all morning. Emily smiled at this and knew her daughter was in good hands. She had a thought, "He would make a fantastic son in law." But alas Lara kept insisting they were not together every time she would ask her daughter about the two of them.
