I slept so peacefully after Catra had told me all of those sweet things. It really did mean a lot to me, especially coming from her. However, I knew that I couldn't allow myself to be distracted by how I felt for Catra. I knew that we still had a mission at hand and it was important that the others and I helped Entrapta out. As long as Silver was still out there, we were still in partial danger.

"We need to make sure we have a lot of traps set up," I said.

"But we've been working on these for hours!" Glimmer sighed, as we continued to work on the robot traps with Entrapta, the following morning.

Glimmer rubbed her eyes a little sleepily and then yawned, which caused me to yawn, too.

"We have to be on our A game here, people! If any robots slip through the net...heh, pardon the pun," I said, as I gently scratched the back of my neck, "Then we could be in some serious trouble."

Glimmer's eyes flashed with some concern then and she sighed. She soon gave me a nod of understanding.

"Alright...I suppose you do have a point," she said, as she ran a hand through her soft pink hair.

Bow wandered over to us then and gave Glimmer a feather-light kiss on the forehead.

"Hey, you've got this," he told her.

Glimmer smiled with warmth at Bow's sweet words and I just cleared my throat then.

"Uh, Glimmer, concentrate," I told her.

"Okay, okay! I'm concentrating," she told me, as she gave me a warm smile.

Glimmer's state of calm was helping me to not have a total freak out over the whole robot situation and the future state of Etheria, if these guys got out of control, but I knew that we could do this. I mean, we only had to trap a couple of robots. How hard could it actually be?

As I saw Catra hanging upside down from a tree, with a foot caught up in one of the ropes for a trap, though, I sighed softly to myself. Don't answer that one.

I quickly rushed over to Catra and helped set her free. She landed on all fours and growled, as she stood up to face me.

"Honestly, Adora. I had it," she said.

I raised an eyebrow at her, then, as I felt a small smile play at my lips.

"Sure ya did," I said, as I crossed my arms in front of my chest.

It was hard not to smile at Catra when I recalled all the sweet things that she had said to me the previous evening. I could only hope that she remembered them and that she had remembered what I had told her, too. Catra had said that I meant a lot to her but I didn't think she could ever truly notice just how much she actually meant to me, no matter what we went through.  I had promised her a long time ago that I would always be her friend and I intended to make good on that promise.

"Apparently, I can rely on myself to climb trees but not so much avoiding getting caught in ropes. Uh. What kind of former Force Captain even am I?" Catra sighed, as she plucked some stray autumn leaves off her outfit.

I merely smiled at her, as I took a step towards her so I could fluff up her soft chocolate brown hair.

Catra's eyes closed for a moment, as she purred, but then when she seemed to register how she was reacting, her cheeks flushed again.

"Whatever...let's just go," she said, as she sped onwards.

I quickened the pace at which I was walking, so I could fall into step beside Catra as we navigated through difficult forest paths and over stray tree logs and stumps.

"Ugh. The woodcutters have been out in full force again. I'm just going to have to make sure they don't deforest all of Etheria before winter," Glimmer said, then, with a tone of frustration.

I simply met her with an expression of sympathy, which she seemed to appreciate.

Melog soon wandered over to Glimmer and purred, as he nuzzled his head against her hand.

Glimmer soon glanced towards them and smiled an empathetic smile.

"I know, little guy. We'll plant some more trees soon, I promise," she told them.

"Hey, Adora. Do you think there's any robots nearby?" Catra asked.

I looked around for a moment but shrugged when I couldn't see any.

"They might be in hiding," Glimmer said, "They could have built themselves a secret hideout and we would be none the wiser!" she added.

"They could have, Sparkles! We better make a break for it," Catra said, as she began to speed away.

"Catra!" I called after her, with mild annoyance in my voice.

Catra soon jogged back over to us and then ran her hands through her hair to smooth it down a little. It was getting a little longer, again. It suited her.

"Alright, alright. I won't tease any more," she sighed, as she leant against one of the nearby trees. "We just need to pretend that we aren't totally doomed here, even though, you know...Entrapta and the others completely disappeared."

"No, we didn't, darling! Entrapta found a few more bots and yours truly helped her take them out," Double Trouble said.

"Oh, that is so totally not what happened," Entrapta grumbled, "We turned them good again! You're welcome!" she grinned.

"Besides, we aren't totally doomed here. If we were totally doomed here, Adora would have broken her sword about twenty times and Catra would have stormed off throughout the forest as if she was in some badly directed rock montage," Double Trouble said.

Catra just rolled her eyes at that statement.

"Listen, Kitten. The point I'm trying to make here is that our team is so much stronger when you and Adora are together," they said, as a small smile played upon their lips.

Catra caught my gaze for a moment and looked away a little self-consciously.

I felt myself looking at her for a second longer than I probably should have, but I didn't care. I was glad that the two of us were on this mission together. Catra made me feel sort of invincible, you know, besides confusing the hell out of me and being a general pain in my ass, she was actually a pretty great person.
