Upon our return to the palace, Glimmer rushed towards us with a concerned expression upon her face.

"Bow, Adora, Catra, you-" Glimmer said, as she looked towards Double Trouble for a second.

"The name's Double Trouble, Sparkle girl," Double Trouble said.

Catra tried to suppress a laugh beside me but ultimately failed.

I gave her a look, then.

"What? It's good to know I'm not the only one who calls her that," Catra said.

Glimmer simply narrowed her eyes at Catra momentarily, before she returned her attention to Bow and I and took a step forward.

"Where in Etheria have you been?" she asked, "I was so worried!" she added.

Bow gave her a sympathetic expression at that.

"We were fighting robots," I explained.

"And changing them back, of course," Double Trouble interjected, as they glanced towards Catra for a moment with a kind grin.

 Glimmer gasped.

"Bow, you can't just fight robots in your dressing gown!" Glimmer said, "Besides...I promised your dads that I would make sure you didn't walk into trouble on your own and-"

"I didn't," Bow said, as he placed a hand on Glimmer's shoulder, "I had Adora, Catra and Double Trouble with me, Glimmer. I was perfectly fine," he assured her.

Glimmer seemed to relax a little, then.

"They're still out there though, aren't they? There's still more of them and there's still Silver out there, too," Glimmer said, as she began to make her way past us.

"Hang on a second, Sparkles. Where are you going?" Catra asked her, as her eyes flickered with concern for a moment.

"What does it look like? I'm going to go and find this bastard that is keeping me from getting my much needed eight hours of beauty sleep!" Glimmer said, as she walked on.

Bow and I quickly stepped around her to block her path.

Glimmer narrowed her eyes at the both of us, then.

"Bow, Adora, I've got this," she said.

"You can't be so careless, Glimmer," I told her.

"Yeah! You're only in your pajamas too!" Bow said.

I looked towards him then and he raised an eyebrow at me.

"What? It's true," he said.

I sighed in mild exasperation.

"The point is that you could get seriously hurt...we're not quite sure how much Silver is capable of," I told her.

"Probably not much," Catra said, as she took a step towards us then.

I glanced towards her with an expression of curiosity.

"Well, DT here tells me that Silver's power is draining. He hasn't be charged in a long time. That's why we haven't seen many robots recently...the rate at which he creates them is slowing down," Catra explained.

Double Trouble looked towards Catra with admiration, then, as they gave a nod of their head in acknowledgement that Catra's words were correct.

Glimmer sighed, as she wrapped her arms around Bow then. Bow kissed the top of her head.

"Alright," she said, as she drew back from the hug, "What do you think we should do, Adora?" she asked me.

I considered her question for a second. If there was one thing I knew for certain, then it was that I was entirely exhausted and that wasn't going to help me out if I encountered Silver any time soon.

"I think we need to rest up," I told her, "We can sort all of this out tomorrow."

"For good, this time," Catra added.

I met her gaze and smiled.

"Exactly. For good, this time," I assured her.

Glimmer's expression still flickered with worry and Bow simply wrapped an arm around her shoulders, as empathy flashed in his eyes.

"Hey, I know you're worrying but we've got this, Glimmer. We are going to sort this out for Etheria and for our friends. I promise," Bow said.

Glimmer's eyes motioned towards him and she seemed to look a little calmer at Bow's kind words.

The two of them returned their attention to Catra, Double Trouble and I, then and said goodnight.

Double Trouble saluted Catra and I, as they walked down the hall to the guest room.

Catra held a hand out for me, then.

"Hey, stay with me tonight," she said, "Promise me that you're not going to rush off, in the middle of the night, in search of this guy?" she asked me.

As the two of us began to make our way back to our room, I gave her a slight nod of my head.

"Alright, Catra, I promise," I said, "Just as long as you don't disappear, either."

Catra nodded her head in agreement and then jumped onto the bed. She pat the space beside her and smiled at me, so I wandered over to join her.

"Now, don't hog all of the blankets like you usually do," Catra said, as she got under the covers and cozied up. She looked so adorable, like a little Catra burrito. I smirked at the thought of it.

I chuckled.

"Okay, Catra, I'll try to share the covers equally with you," I said.

"Good, otherwise I'll just cuddle up to you," she said.

I shrugged at that.

"I could think of worse fates," I said.

Catra smiled, as her eyes shone with warmth as the moonlight illuminated the room. She then shuffled a little closer to me, so that she could rest her head upon my shoulder. I took her hand in mine.

"Hey, Adora?" Catra asked then.

"Yeah, Catra?" I replied.

 "I can't sleep," she said.

I looked towards her then and released a soft laugh.

"That's okay. I'll stay up with you until you can," I promised.

Catra smiled contentedly, as she nuzzled my shoulder.

I gave her cheek a gentle kiss.

"Hey, we're going to be okay tomorrow. I just know it," I said.

"Promise?" Catra asked me.

I couldn't help but smile. Catra was being so adorable.

"Yes, Catra. I promise. I'll do everything I can to keep you safe," I said.

Catra rolled over, so she was now lying on top of me, and closed the distance between us so she could softly press her lips against my own. I placed my hands gently upon her waist, as I kissed her back. A part of me wished that we could have stayed like this forever, but I knew that we had things to sort out first. We always did. The temptation to sigh was there, but I refrained, as I refocused my attention on kissing Catra.

When she drew back, her eyes warmed slightly.

"I won't let anything happen to you, either. Not ever. You're everything to me," Catra said, as she kissed me one last time before the two of us soon succumbed to sleep.
