My legs continued to carry me forward, as we walked on through the Secret Woods. No matter how tired I felt, I knew that I had to keep going because I would recognise that voice anywhere and I needed to confirm my suspicions.

"Come on, let's keep moving!" I said, as I called back to the others.

"But where are we going? My feet are getting so tired," Double Trouble complained.

I rolled my eyes, without turning back to look at them.

"I mean, they do present a pretty good question, wildcat. Where are we going?" Scorpia asked. Emily beeped with interest then, too.

"I thought I heard something," I stated matter-of-factly, as I squinted in an attempt to observe between the trees with better focus.

In fact, I was pretty certain that I had. I picked up the pace, as I continued to navigate through the trees in the forest.

"Woah, woah, woah, Kitten. Why are you moving so fast? Did you hear something?" Double Trouble asked and then gasped dramatically, "Ooh! Did you see a mouse?" they asked.

I rolled my eyes at them.

"No," I said. "Never mind," I added, as I glanced around at the Secret Woods, as Double Trouble had referred to them. The woods felt tragically empty. Well, I supposed that they had been called the Secret Woods for a reason.

However, just when I thought that all hope was lost, I made out the back of Adora's head nearby and soon the rest of her came into view, too.

"Adora!" I called out.

"Sure, let's just draw the robot's attention to us again! Why not?" Double Trouble asked, as they smirked.

I was ignoring them. I was too focused on the fact that Adora was here!

"Adora! You can't just rush off like that...oh, hey Catra," Glimmer said, as she and Bow came into view.

Adora swiftly turned around and approached me then. She held out a hand and looked hesitant for a moment, but she soon placed it down on my shoulder.

"Catra...you can't just rush off like that," she told me.

"It didn't stop you from doing it," I reminded her.

Adora sighed, then. She couldn't argue with that one.

Shortly after Glimmer and Bow had emerged from between the purple forest trees, a metallic figure joined them.

I recognised this one.

"Metal?" I asked.

"They have names?" Double Trouble cried out, as their eyes widened slightly.

"Yeah. The robots have names. Duh!" Entrapta said.

"Double Trouble...it's good to see you again. Sorta. I forget if you're on our side or not from time to time," Adora stated, then.

"I don't have a side, darling...I just go with whoever's winning. It's far easier that way, wouldn't you agree?" they asked, as the corner of their lips twitched up slightly in amusement.

"The point is, we kind of met Metal earlier in the forest. He says that he can take us to Silver...otherwise known as-"

"The leader of the rogue robots. Yeah, I know," I said.

Adora's eyes flickered with admiration for a moment, before they became serious again.

"Catra..." she started to say but she was soon interrupted.

"Adora!" Swift Wind yelled with excitement, then.

"Swifty! You're back!" Adora yelled, as she rushed over to the horse to begin to stroke through his mane.

Swift Wind's eyes closed as he seemed perfectly content for a moment.

He soon wandered over to Bow and Glimmer, while Adora came to stand beside me again.

Mermista and Sea Hawk soon joined the team, too, and went to speak with Entrapta and Scorpia.

Double Trouble was presently trying to have a conversation with Metal. I had never seen sass levels so matched before in my life.

Eventually, Adora broke the silence.

"Hey," she said, as she rubbed her arm a little nervously.

"Hey, Adora," I said, as I felt the corner of my mouth edge up slightly in my own good humour.

For the first time in a while, I didn't feel mad at her. I was actually glad to see her again. It was a relief to see that she was alive and well, even with killer bots out to get us.

"I guess I have to say that I'm pretty impressed, Adora. You never once gave up on me," I reminded her.

"I..." Adora began but paused when Entrapta rushed between us.

"Metal! Yay! I'm so glad that you're still okay. More to the point, I'm glad that my rewiring worked. You all had me scared there for a second but...if you can't make mistakes in science then, what can you do?" Entrapta asked.

"I don't know," Mermista began to say, "Maybe not creating crazy robots that eventually turn against us would be a good place to start."

"Hey! Who are you calling a crazy robot?" Metal asked, as his eyes flickered red for a second.

Mermista just crossed her arms in front of her chest and raised an eyebrow at the creation.

"Who are you calling Mermaid girl?" she retorted.

Metal simply beeped, as he began to walk away from her, then. He soon joined Adora and I again.

"Now, I know where Silver is," he began to say, "But we have to hurry," he stated.

"On it," Adora said but Glimmer swiftly caught her wrist.

"Tomorrow morning. I'm queen and what I say goes. It is far too late to venture off into these woods right now and...if we do stumble across a robot, we're going to end up too exhausted to fight them so, I say everyone goes to bed," she said.

The others groaned but eventually made their way to bed. Well, 'bed' was currently a comfortable place on the forest floor among the purple and red leaves that were scattered there, but it was better than nothing.

"Now!" Glimmer exclaimed, as Adora and I remained rooted to the spot. It was the scariest that I had ever seen Glimmer get, anyway.

"Yes, queen Glimmer," Adora stumbled over her words, as she quickly began to set up a campfire and rested beside it. She soon looked towards me and I just felt my eyes flutter slightly with interest.

"What?" I asked her, as I leant against one of the trees.

"Stay with me?" Adora asked.

She looked so cute when she asked me that but...now was not the time.

"Oh no...I'm keeping watch," I said decisively.

Adora stood up then, once the fire was all sorted and frowned once she got up close to me again.

"No, Catra. I'm keeping watch. I'm She-ra, remember? I have the sword, which is exactly why I should be in charge, here," Adora stated.

"I'm staying up," I said, as I went to take a seat beside the fire.

Adora soon sighed and came to sit next to me.

Usually, I would have been on my A game but I felt far too tired to fight with Adora right now.

I simply had a staring competition with her until I felt my eyelids grow heavy with how tired I was. As I watched the amber flames flicker away, I placed my head on Adora's shoulder and fought with sleep for a few more minutes, until I was submerged in the darkness of sleep.
