"I hate it here," I grumbled, as we continued to walk down the dark pathway.

Scorpia met my gaze with some sympathy, then.

"This is ridiculous. There's so many cobwebs and I'm getting PTSD just thinking about running into another robotic spider," I mumbled.

"I think you're entirely right, Catra, and I'd be worried that I'm being a bad friend if I didn't suggest to you right now that we turn back and head back the way we came! Maybe then we can find Adora and-"

I felt my hand clench up, then, and Scorpia seemed to immediately regret what she had said. At least, I thought so. Her eyes widened slightly and she swallowed, causing a slight bop in her throat.

"No. We are not turning back," I said.

"Well, I still think that we should," Scorpia said with a sigh, as she crossed her...claws in front of her chest.

As we continued to walk on, I felt my anger levels rise slightly.

"I mean...why would we turn back now, after we've come all this way? Are you kidding me, Scorpia? How could you be so damn stupid-" I stopped then, as I noticed the slightly heartbroken expression upon Scorpia's face. "Scorpia...I'm sorry. I know I need to control my anger. It's still something that I'm working on, I just...we don't need Adora, alright? Entrapta was our friend before she left us for them. We're the Super Pal Trio, remember? That's why it's only fitting that we find Entrapta before they do," I said decisively, "Now, we should camp out here...we've been walking for ages and if anything does try to sneak up on us, we can be ready for it," I stated.

"No," Scorpia said, then.

"No? What the hell do you mean, 'no'?" I asked.

"No. You were very mean to me," Scorpia said, "I don't really know how to process that, Catra, because I thought we were a team and now you're-"

"And I said I was sorry, didn't I?" I asked her, as I felt frustration creep into my veins again.

"I thought we were a team but I don't know what I'm supposed to do if you say things like that. Besides, I don't think that we should stay here. I don't see what good staying here is going to do. I think we should turn back and go and find the others. We would be safer with the others," Scorpia said.

I rolled my eyes, then, but then another fear entered my mind. I felt my eyebrows crease together again and a cold chill ran down my spine.

"Do you really think that we would be safer with the others, Scorpia, or do you just not feel safe with me?" I asked her. I winced, as I heard the anxiety in my tone and the subtle crack in my voice.

"That's not what this is about and you know that, Catra. I was willing to be your friend for a very long time and...I guess I just wish that you would prove that you want to be my friend, too, so that I'm not in this alone," Scorpia said, as she sat down on the grass beneath us.

"Hey...I'm here, aren't I?" I asked her, then.

Scorpia acknowledged that, as she gave a slight nod of her head.

"And I promised you that we would find Entrapta, didn't I?" I asked.

She nodded again, then.

"So...do you think that you can trust that I am as dedicated to finding Entrapta as I am to being your friend, Scorpia? That I promise you that I won't give up on you or the others, even if I get mad sometimes? You know Adora and I...these things happen, she- she won't just leave us behind for long. I know her," I said.

At least, I thought I did.

Scorpia's expression seemed to soften a little, then, as she reflected on my words.

"Alright, Catra, I-"

Before she could continue that sentence, soon a bunch of creepy crawly robotic spiders infiltrated the area.

"Oh this is bad. This is very not good," Scorpia said.

"I think that's an understatement. Let's do this," I said then, as I grabbed my whip and gun out from my holster and began to shoot the metallic nightmares nearby.

"Are these Entrapta's, too?" Scorpia called out to me, as she began to knock some spiders flying with her claws.

I thought over her question for a second, as I shot another one of the smaller spiders. Great. The robotic mother spider was probably nearby...just what we needed. I really hoped that Entrapta wasn't behind this because if she had gotten herself ended by one of these creatures I swore I would kill her. I know that doesn't make much sense but it's hard to make much sense when one of your worst fears is headed straight for you.

Luckily, Scorpia stepped in just in time and defeated the spider for me.

"Thanks," I mumbled, as she turned to me.

"Yeah! It's no big deal, I mean-" she began to say and then soon raised an eyebrow at me. I shifted a little uncomfortably between my feet.

"Wait a second...you're not-"

"Don't say it," I said with an exhale of frustration.

"You're not scared of spiders and mice, are you?" Scorpia asked me.

I folded my arms in front of my chest and scowled.

"Hey. Do not make fun of me. We all have our weaknesses," I said, "Mine just happen to be spiders and mice, okay?" I asked.

Scorpia's mouth formed a smirk, then.

"And Adora. I see the way you look at her, the way you talk about her, Catra. You really, really do like her, don't you?" she asked me.

"I don't like her."

I immediately denied it, even though my heart pounded in an uncomfortable manner as I said the words.

"Alright, wildcat. Whatever you say. Let's keep going...we have a friend to find, right?" Scorpia asked me then.

I managed to exhale in relief, this time around, pleased at the fact that Scorpia wasn't going to interrogate me further. At least, she wasn't right now.

I nodded in agreement and the two of us set off on a lighter path, this time around. I only hoped there wouldn't be any spiders on this one.
