taehyung was a curious little.

he wanted to touch everything, eat everything and say hello to everyone he saw. sometimes it was cute, but his caregivers needed to keep a close eye on him at all times. on top of this burning curiosity taehyung was also very energetic. he seemed to always be running around, being loud and needing constant attention.

all-in-all, he was a handful. thankfully, he had six caregivers.

currently it was almost four pm. half of the group had already gathered in a practice room, they all agreed to go over some old choreo's to refresh their minds today.

yoongi sat with his back leaned against the wall, facing the mirrors. he had a pair of headphones on as he finished a bit of work on his laptop. seokjin had his head on the younger's shoulder, his eyes closed and softly snoring. taehyung had kept him up late the night before, as the little had had a nightmare. of course seokjin didn't mind comforting the younger, but he did mind that taehyung seemed to be just fine, even after sleeping for only a few hours.

taehyung was skipping around the practice room. he had turned on his favorite playlist on the built-in speakers and was fully enjoying his free time before practice in little space, just hopping around. occasionally he threw in a dancemove, laughing when he did a wave with his body and saw himself in the mirror.

"wowie~" he grinned. he did the same thing again and again, until he saw one of the drawers from the built-in cabinets behind him slightly opened.

curiosity coursed through his veins as taehyung sped towards the drawer, pulling it open completely and looking at what was inside.

the drawer was big and it contained what looked like a suitcase. he pulled it out and set it down on the floor, neither of the caregivers in the room noticing anything. there was no lock on the suitcase, so it was opened easily.

taegyung smiled widely when he recognized the contents. he wasn't sure why it was stored in a practice room, but he had just found one of their hair stylist's suitcases!

the little immediately started pulling out all kinds of things. first he found some hairsprays, one seemed to be glitter and he happily placed it on the floor to his right, deciding right away he was going to use that later. next came out hair curling rollers, a bunch of colourful clips and he even managed to find beads and thread.

he tried, but the little didn't seem capable of opening up the second layer he knew was underneath all of these things. honestly, it was for the best. the second layer contained things like hairdryers and straightening tools, things littles should never be able to reach without supervision, especially not this little troublemaker.

taehyung pouted for only a second, but then grabbed all the things he wanted to use in his arms and ran over to the mirror. he was so excited to decorate his own hair!

the curious boy started with working a few rollers into his long locks, one in his bangs, one on the back of his head and one on the right side. next up were beads. he opened the little containter with the colourful decorations and refrained from putting one in his mouth, even if they looked so yummy, because he wanted them in his hair! he grabbed a piece of thread, made a knot on one side and started stringing the prettiest beads on it. in no time the little thread was filled and he knotted off the other side. taehyung made a few more of these, before he was ready to use the clips and attach them to his hair.

the little looked at the work he did so far in the mirror. his boxy smile appeared on his face as he remember he could make ponytails as well! he jumped up and ran back to the suitcase, reaching for a handful of small hairties before running back to the mirror.

he worked on making two cute little pigtails on top of his head, eventually turning them into messy spacebuns with strands of hair sticking out here and there. taehyung nodded contently, loving the look. he pulled out the hair rollers, which weren't in for long, but managed to leave behind a little more texture compared to the rest of his hair.

last but not least– the glitter hairspray.

taehyung admired his work, taking some selfies and pulling weird faces at himself in the mirror.

across the room, yoongi was so immersed in his work, he completely forgot to watch over the little. seokjin was still asleep and had obviously not been paying attention for that reason.

yoongi's focus was rudely interrupted by a weird smell. hairspray?

his head whipped up, waking up seokjin and making the older groan. yoongi looked around the room and found taehyung sitting in front of the mirror, he seemed to be okay but– what was that in his hair?

yoongi pulled off his headphones and sat the laptop he had on his lap down on the floor. seokjin was still confused as to why yoongi was suddenly moving so much, his eyes were still half closed.

the rapper walked over to the little to check what he was up to, quickly catching the younger's attention.

"yoonie!" taehyung smiled. "look!" he said, pointing at his hair.

"oh my- you're such a little troublemaker." yoongi laughed, once he saw all the beads and clips and the cute buns. "where did you even find all of these things?"

"in suitcase! look, over there!" taehyung pointed. "is fun to do my hair," he grinned, pulling on some of the slightly wavy strands in his bangs.

yoongi couldn't believe his own eyes. taehyung looked so adorable, maybe even more adorable than that one time they all wore onesies on stage and taehyung was a little chick.

"i can't even be mad at you," the caregiver whispered. "you're so cute!" he cooed, squeezing the little's round cheeks and then booping his nose.
