I WENT TO BED THAT NIGHT with lots of thoughts. I got up the next morning and got ready for my day
"did you hear Aiden is dating some 5th year?" Eva said as she brushed her hair
"oh, thats, uhm good for him" I said, I didn't really care if I'm being honest, "I'll see you guys, I promised lola I'd walk to the great hall for breakfast with them" I said walking out of the room.
I made my way down the stairs and spotted lola sitting on the couch,
"hey faith" they said smiling getting up, we made our way to the great hall and sat down, I noticed George staring at me and forced myself to look away,
lola and I made small conversation as we ate our breakfast, lola suddenly stopped talking and I looked to where they were staring confused, I saw George walking up to the slytherin table, did he have a death wish?
"hey faith can I talk to you?"
"uh, yeah just give me a sec" I said grabbing my bag and shooting lola a look saying I'm sorry and they smiled, "it's no problem we have class together anyways"
george and I walked in silence, he seemed to know where he was going so I just followed him, he led me to an empty hallway, he dropped his book bag on the floor and stood there with his arms crossed over his chest,
"can we talk about last night?"
"there's nothing to talk about George"
"danm it faith what are you so afraid of?" he said raising his voice a little, "why won't you give me a chance?"
"George-"
"no don't 'george' me"
"what do you want me to say?!" I said irritated
"I want the truth faith. I want you to admit that it meant something to you, that I mean something to you"
I sighed and averted ny gaze to the floor,
"faith please, just tell me why you won't let me in"
"I can't afford to let it mean anything george" I said in a small voice,
"w-what?" he blinked in shock
"George I-I can't let it mean anything, I can't let you mean anything"
"why the hell not?" he spat,
"okay then george, it does mean something to me. what now? we kiss and live happily ever after? open your eyes george! I have bigger problems than my feelings" I said
"so you admit that I mean to something to you?"
"oh for salazar's sake george did you hear anything else I said?"
"I'll forget about last night under one condition"
"what do you want?"
"I want you to let me be your friend, even if we don't get a full mark in the stupid project" he said with a stupid smirk
"and if I don't agree?" I said crossing my arms over my chest,
"I won't ever shut up about the night in the astronomy tower and the fact that the slytherin princess was the in the gryffindor common room" he smirked crossing his own arms over his chest
"you wouldn't"
"oh but I would" he laughed
"so what we braid each other's hair now?" I said rolling my eyes,
"no I walk you to your first class, come on" he said grabbing his book bag and swinging his arm around my shoulders, "what do you have?"
"herbology" I mumbled under my breath
thankfully I had no classes with george for the first half of my classes so I wasn't too annoyed by him. I was on my way to potions after lunch when I felt my stomach start to empty itself, I managed to make it to the trash can and I felt someone take my hair out of my face and rub my back,
"ms evergreen you are excused from my class, Mr flint, take her to the hospital wing" I heard professor snape say, I finally stopped throwing up and pulled my head up I must have pulled it up to quick because I started to lean to the side, thankfully aiden held on to me,
"you're okay, come on let's go" he whispered softly,
"Elliot take her and I's bags to the common room please" I heard him say but it was a little muffled considering my senses were a little over the place.
I must've passed out because that's the last thing I remember.
