I SHOT OUT OF BED and tried to catch my breath. I realized that I wasn't in my room, I was in the... hospital wing? merlin my head is killing me.
" oh faith you're awake " I heard an old lady say to me
"what happened?" I asked confused putting my head in my hands,
"dear do you not remember?" she said worried
"n-no last thing I remember is walking out of the great hall and then everything is fuzzy"
"faith! you're awake" I heard and saw draco, Eva, Sparrow, lola, Cora, Elliot, Aiden, and... George walk in
"what's wrong with me, what happened?" I said
"dear you threw up and then proceeded to faint, at first I thought you must have eaten something that was the reason but now that you say you don't remember... I think it was because you're exhausted"
"but I sleep fine?" I said confused
"mentally exhausted faith, your mental health is very important you know"
"there's nothing wrong with my mental health" I scoffed
"faith you're barely eating and you sleep way more than you should" Eva said in a worried voice,
"so it's a crime to sleep now?" I said in disbelief
"faith we're just worried about you" Sparrow said
"I'll let you guys talk" the nurse lady said before leaving,
"what day is it? how long have I been here?" I asked looking around,
"it's been a day, you passed out Tuesday afternoon, it's Thursday morning right now" lola spoke in a low voice, merlin a whole day?
"what about our project? its due today?" I said looking at George, "oh, uh professor snape said we can have a few days" he explained
"oh my, faith are you alright?" I heard a very worried narcissa say, she said coming up to me holding my face in her hand, "you look awful!" she said inspecting my face,
"thanks" I said in a monotone voice, "I'm.. okay" I sighed as she let go of my face, "what happened?" she said looking at my friends and then looking at me,
"the nurse claims I'm mentally exhausted"
"oh dear.."
"you don't honestly believe that?" I scoffed at her, she looked at my friends and they got the hint to come back later, "draco told me about how hard you've been working faith, and while I appreciate it very much you need to be careful dear" she said grabbing my hand,
"where's lucius? why couldn't he come? I'm basically his daughter" I said bitterly, I sat up properly and crossed my arms over my chest.
"h-he has work he couldn't leave" she said with a sorry look
"right" I scoffed.
"for your treatment I'm just going to have you stay here for another night" the lady said walking up to us,
"what?! no no I have classes" I said shaking my head, narcissa held my hand, "faith it's just one night and I'm sure your friends will help you catch up"
"fine"
"right then, I need to go-"
"of course you do"
"but I love you very much and I'll see you soon" she said placing a small kiss on my forehead before getting up and leaving.
"you should take a nap, you can have breakfast when you wake up"
i sighed and went back to bed, my head was pounding.
Georges pov
"did you hear what happened with evergreen? I reckon she's finally lost it" I heard a gryffindor snicker behind me, "about time, just like her parents" he added, I turned around and grab the front of his robes,
"what did you just say?" I sneered at him
"w-what's it to you weasley" he said trying to get out of my grip,
"I said what did you say"
"evergreen threw up and fainted, I said that she's finally lost her mind, just like her parents, are you deaf?" he spat and the next thing I know he was on the floor with a bleeding nose, I looked down at my hand and back at him, did I do that?
I stumbled back into Fred,"what did you do?!" he said looking at my hand and the kid on the floor who was surrounded by students and teachers, "I-I don't know, it's like my mind went blank I didn't notice what I did until, well, I did it"
"Mr weasley! come here. now" I heard professor McGonagall say and I followed her,
"we do not tolerate that kind of behavior here"
"I-I'm sorry"
"he provoked him professor!" Fred said
"oh really? what did he say?"
"he said that faith had finally lost her mind... just like her parents" I spoke in a low voice, "oh my..." she spoke,
"Mr weasley while I appreciate your attempt to defend your friend I still need to punish you" she said, "of course professor, I understand"
"a week of detention, and you'll also escorts Ms evergreen to and from her classes until she is well again, am I clear?"
"yes professor"
"Fred please take him to the hospital wing" she said motioning to my bleeding knuckles
