"ARE YOU SURE PROFESSOR McGonagall isn't punishing me?" I groaned out as george told me that he had to walk me to all of my Classes and basically be my bodyguard, he had just gotten his hand wrapped in some bandage, he laughed at me and sat down across from me on the little bed I was sitting on, "so why'd you punch the kid?" I asked
"none of your business" he said mimicking me smiling,
"right okay" I laughed out
"how are you feeling?" he said his voice instantly filling with worry, "are you going soft on me weasley?
"yeah we're friends now" he said smirking and I rolled my eyes smiling, I had just finished eating lunch and him and I were trying to work on our project. he was excused from his classes for the day to watch me.
"so what happened between you and flint?"
"nothing really I ended it before it could become something, I don't have time for a relationship" I replied,
"oh" he said nodding
"so what about you? any unfortunate girls you've got your eye on?" I asked with a smirk and he raised his eyebrow, "what? you're my only sense of entertainment for the day weasley" I defended and he laughed,
"well then, I kind of like this girl but she doesn't really seem interested" he admitted
"do I know her?"
"maybe I'm not sure"
"what's her name?" I asked pulling my knees to my chest,
"that's for me to know and you to find out evergreen" he said winking, I threw some parchment at him, "what'd I say about winking?"

a couple of hours later we had managed to get some work done and he left to get him and I's homework from the the classes we both missed.
"faith hey!" I saw Cedric walk into the hospital wing, "pretty boy diggory, what can I do for you" I said with a smile, and he laughed at the nickname.
"I wanted to check up on you I heard what happened" he said sitting down on the bed beside me, "I'm okay I've just been sitting in bed all day with George"
"oh?" he said smirking at me, I threw a pillow at him and caught it with ease, "hey! watch the face",
"him and I are barely friends, wipe that smirk off your face diggory"
"mhm sure and next thing you know he's asking you to the yule ball"
I threw another pillow that he clearly wasn't expecting because it hit him straight in the face, "next thing I throw won't be a pillow"

The next morning I was let out and george was this close to just carrying me, "George im fine let. go." I said swatting his arm away, he basically snatched my book bag as soon as I picked it up, he said something along the lines of 'your arm will fall off'
"okay okay I'm sorry" he said putting his hands up in defense, "hey um before we go in-" he said as we stood at the doors of the Great hall,
"I know" I said, I threw up and fainted of course people were going to talk. I walked in and saw the same ravenclaw from the other day looking at me, "you've got something you wanna say?-" I said and before he could say anything george came up behind me and pushed me along, "come on evergreen let's go" he whispered, the boy let out a breath of relief and I rolled my eyes letting myself get pulled away, and I noticed that George was taking me to the gryffindor table, "w-what are you doing-" I said confused
"what? I need to make sure you eat and I can't do that with you at the slytherin table" he said like it was no big deal
"have you lost your mind?" I scoffed
"come on" he said putting his arm around my shoulder and sitting me down, I was sat in between him and Fred with Harry, hermonie and Ron in front of me. I smiled sarcastically at everyone and sat there as george put food on my plate, mostly fruits. I felt like a child, "good morning" harry said smiling at me,
"good morning" I smiled back,
"I don't think we've met, I'm hermonie Granger" hermonie said reaching her arm out with a smile, I raised my arm to shake hers, "faith evergreen" I said with a tight smile and I watched her smile falter a little, ha.
"this is ron" she said pointing to the boy beside her, "we've already met" he sneered and I bit back a laugh, "does ickle ronnikins have a problem with faith?" Fred mocked and I laughed, "no" he grumbled taking a bite from his toast,
"flint looks like he's about to stab me with his fork" George leaned down to whisper in my ear, "reckon he'll be able to do some damage?" I asked sarcastically
"very funny evergreen" he said handing me a fork and giving me a look that meant start eating before I feed you myself. I looked over at the slytherin table and my friends were all mostly smirking, except Aiden of course. I rolled my eyes and started to drink from my water, "so are you and george dating?" I heard hermonie ask and I choked on my water causing Fred to burst out laughing
"o-oh sorry I just assumed because he was carrying your bag-and well you're sitting at the gryffindor table" she said embarrassed
"oh no uh he's been tasked as my babysitter for the next week" I said wiping my mouth with a tissue, "reckon he's enjoying it" Ron snorted under his breath before being hit by a flying apple,
"ow?!" he said and george glared at him, "shut your mouth ronnikins"
i smiled a little and started to eat the 50 different types of fruits that George had piled on to my plate.
