IT WAS A COUPLE OF WEEKS later and we were all sat near the black lake, it was George, Fred, lola, Cora, Sparrow, Eva and one of the twins' friend Angelina. we were 'studying' and by studying I meant laughing at something Fred had said,

"so what are our plans for Halloween?" I asked looking around,

"I think the hufflepuffs are hosting the annual Halloween party" George said and I looked up at him confused, he had his arm around me and we were both leaning onto a tree,

"if it's an annual party why is held in the common room?" I asked

"it's held by the 7th years, only 5th years and above are allowed at the parties themselves, each year its held in a different house." Fred explained

"even the slytherin house?"

"yeah since it's the older students we all manage to act decent towards each other" lola answered,

"it's usually just alcohol and music no one really wears costumes, but girls like to dress up" Angelina spoke up leaning into Fred, they kind of had a thing, I layed my head onto George's chest, him and I were doing great, we weren't officiall or anything, I wasn't ready for a relationship and he understood that, I think we both realized that the fact we're both happy is what matters.

"how long has it been going on" I asked,

"ever since all our own parents used to attend hogwarts" Eva said as she played with Sparrow's hair who's head was in Eva's lap, those two finally got together as well,

"how haven't the professor's found out?" I asked

"I reckon they do know they just let us have this one night of the year and since they know it's 5th years and above they don't worry too much. we try to give alcohol only to kids sixteen and over" Cora explained,

"ohh okay, sounds fun" I smiled, we sat there for a couple more hours and got up to go to dinner. We all decided to just have dinner at our own tables and then meet up after to hang out. We got to the table and I heard whispers behind me,

"come back so soon? what? Did you finally get tired of the blood traiter?" a 7th year slytherin named Jax dolohov smirked, "just like you got tired of flint, tell me evergreen who's next? maybe you'll go for malfoy, after all you lot aren't related by blood" he said and his friends laughed,

"sod off you git" Sparrow said as I stayed silent,

"cat got your tounge faith? or should I say weasel" he sneered at me,

"if you want to keep yours I suggest you shut your mouth" I said glaring at him,

"is that a threat?" he taunted getting up,

"what do you think?" I said balling my fist stepping towards him, at this point the whole slytherin table was watching us, some of the gryffindor students as well considering their table was right beside us.

"I think you should learn your place" he said taking his wand out but I saw it coming, I pulled my wand out faster and held it against his neck,

"you were saying?" I said squinting my eyes at him, his hands raised in defence,

He didn't reply and I lowered my wand and turned away from him, "that's what I thought" Jax laughed,

before I could turn to do anything to him I was pulled away by George who I hadn't even noticed come up behind me, "aw how cute" he taunted even more and I struggled in George's arms,

"keep your bitch in check weasley"

george let me go and before I could do anything to Jax George had already punched Jax and was about to continue if I hadn't grabbed him,

"Mr weasley!" I heard professor McGonagall shriek in fear, "50 points from gryffindor and come with me right this intsant! you too Ms evergreen"

I basically used all of my body strength to pull george who was burning holes into Jax with his glare, away, we followed professor McGonagall into the hallway,

"explain yourself!" she said crossing her arms over her chest,

"he insulted-"

"he called me a bitch professor, do excuse my language" I said,

"o-oh well then, while this does not excuse your behavior Mr weasley your only punishment will be the house points I deducted" she said,

"and I will see to it that Mr dolohov is punished appropriately" professor snape said coming up to us,

We both turned away and headed to the hospital wing so that George could get some ice or something for his knuckles, again,

"blimey Georgie" i winced looking down at his hand as madam pomfret handed me ice and sent us on our way, he held the ice against his knuckles and we met up with our friends,

"Are you alright?" Fred asked

"I'm fine come on lets go" George said and we all made our way to the gryfindor common room, we were all spread out on the main couches in the common room, since it was later at night it was mostly just the older students, Harry, Ron, and hermonie were sitting with us as well,

"You know, you never told me why you you hit that gryfindor when i was passed out" i said and George choked on the water he was drinking,

"he never told you?" Fred asked from where he and Angelina were sat on the floor,

"No?" I said confused,

"the kid was mouthing off on you and your parents" Ron said, "next thing you know poor bloke was on the floor clutching his broken nose" he continued with a smirk I looked to George to confirm and he was blushing, the conversation changed and i leaned into his ear,

"you're cute when you blush" i whispered before kissing his cheek,

"Hey!" He protested, "I'm cute all the time"

I laughed and he smiled leaning in to give me a quick kiss, suddenly we were hit in the face by a flying pillow and i saw Ron sitting n the opposite couch with a smirk,

"you little-" I said getting up and his smirk fell and his face instantly filled with horror as he scrambled to get off the couch and get away, everyone started laughing and i smiled.

Life was good.
