DECEMBER HAD BEGUN and George still hadn't asked me to the Yule ball,

"Maybe he's just waiting for the right moment?" Sparrow said ,

"I swear I'm this close to asking him myself" i sighed,

"Why don't you?" Lola suggested and the girls agreed,

"You know what? That's exactly what I'm going get to do" I said getting up and leaving the common room, i knew that he was currently in the great hall hanging out with Fred so that's where I was headed.

"George Weasley" i said standing across from him putting my hands on the table, he turned to me with a confused look,

"Yes?"

"Will you go to the Yule ball with me?" I asked and Fred choked on his water and started to laugh as George's face dropped,

"I told you so!" He laughed at George , Fred must've noticed my confused expression because he pointed at the table,

"Open your notebook" he said in between laughs, i looked down at the notebook that i let George borrow and opened it, i found a note that read, ' will you go to the Yule ball with me ? :) ',

"Oops" I said smiling sheepishly,

"I told him to ask you before you asked him yourself and i was right!" Fred said and George glared at him.

"Sod off" he said getting up, i grabbed the notebook and the note and followed him,

"you should blame Lola they gave me the idea" i said wrapping my arm around his waist,

"mhm just blame poor Lola" he laughed putting his arm around my shoulders,

"where are we going?" I said leaning my head into his chest as we made our way through the halls,

"the astronomy tower I've missed hanging out with you" he said leaning down to kiss the top of my head,

"we hang out everyday"

"I want to hang out with you without half of my family and our friends there faith" he laughed

I didn't reply and and just nodded, once we made it to the astronomy tower we sat down on the floor, he had his head in my lap his body sprawled out beside me,

"you alright love?" he asked looking up at me,

"yeah just thinking" I replied running my hands through his hair,

"do you want to talk about it?"

"it's nothing too bad just worried for the second task and exams and stuff" I shrugged looking down at him,

we spent a little more time up there before going back to our own common rooms, I noticed draco and remembered he had asked me to find him a date for the yule ball, I walked over and looked to the boy he was standing with,

"why are you still standing here?" I questioned squinting my eyes at him and he quickly left,

"if you keep scaring my friends away I won't have any left faith" draco said rolling his eyes,

"that's not true you'd have me" I smiled sarcastically,

"yay!" he squealed sarcastically ,

"and I didn't scare all of your friends away, I reckon the pretty ones over there like me" I said motioning to Eva and Sparrow's brothers who were sitting on the couch, I couldn't remember their names.
