My siblings were all stressed out and it's just the start of the day. Parehas silang nakapamewang sa harap ko hawak-hawak ang kanilang smart phones. Sabay silang bumuntong-hininga.

"What are you plaaning to do with it?" tanong ni Kuya.

I shrugged. I honestly don't know how to react. I can't even figure out how they came up with these articles and how they managed to gather these pictures in a short span of time. Matagal na ba nilang pinagplanuhan 'to?

"Have you called your manager?" asked Shane.

I shook my head. "She may be figuring things out. Siya ang unang tatawag—"

I stopped talking when I felt my phone vibrating beside me. Naka-flash sa screen ang pangalan ng aking manager.

Bridgitte Gonzales

I picked up the call and put it in a loudspeaker.

"What is this, Cassie?" bungad niya. I can imagine her rubbing her temples in so much stress right now.

Umagang-umaga, ni hindi pa nga sumisikat ang araw, ay ganito na ang bungad sa amin. Gising pa siguro si Kuya dahil alas singko siya kadalasan natutulog kalalaro ng online games kaya mabilis niyang nalaman ang issue. I'm sure he was not the one who found it. He is not fond of this showbiz thingy. Maybe Ate Elaine told him. Si Shane naman, baka gising pa siya kanina dahil may insomnia.

"You know we were bestfriends," I told her while I closed my eyes to adjust.

"I know you were friends, but I didn't know you're his girlfriend!" She raised her voice. "And the pictures supported the issues!"

"I don't know, Bridge!" Minasahe ko ang mga mata ko. "Ano bang mapapala nila d'yan?"

"Umayos ka nga!"

Bumuntong-hininga ako.

"Napakakalmado mo d'yan! Anong 'ano mapapala?'" aniya. "They were clearly making issues to destroy your bestfriend lalo pa at nasa tuktok siya ngayon ng kasikatan!"

"Ano palang gusto mong gawin ko?" tanong ko sa kalmadong boses.

"I wanted to know if it was true, so I can think of solutions."

"What do you want to know... again?" I asked, a little bit lost at the topic.

"If it was true. If you and Migo are in a relationship."

"Well, he is courting me."

"What?" she exclaimed. "That freaking dimwit!"

A faint smile curved on my lips. "I know he is."

Kuya and Shane were just listening to our conversation. Naupo sila sa kama.

"So what are we going to do?" tanong ko sa kanya na medyo nasa maayos na na pag-iisip.

"We cannot do anything."

I know.

"Now that he is being partnered with Viona, he would be told to deny the issue."

I nodded.

"But because he is at his peak, they would likely prolong the issue for publicity," she added. "If he would confirm the issue, magagalit ang fans nila sa iyo. They would prefer someone famous like him to be paired with a famous, too. The Queen of Hearts is perfect for the King of Primetime Series. You are a freelance actress na singit lang sa kanila. I am sure marami silang hawak na ebidensya, but if he would deny the issue, mapupunta sa kanila ni Viona ang focus. The next question is, would he confirm or deny his relationship with Viona?"
