Nagpatianod na lang ako sa biglang paghatak ni Emerald. Binati siya ng mga empleyadong nadadaanan namin bilang nagmamay-ari ng pinagtatrabahuan. As we placed our feet outside the cafe, we felt the cold night breeze. Hindi pa man nagtatagal ay nakita na naming dalawa ang bulto ng isang lalaki. His figure in the dark was somehow attractive, tipong ang sexy nito habang naglalakad. And by his figure alone, I can determine who he is. Idagdag pa ang paraan ng paglakad nito.

Bigla akong naiwang mag-isa sa labas. Si Emerald ay kumaripas ng lakad papasok. Huli na para mapigilan ko siya. I was too surprised to see someone at this place. "W-What are you doing here?"

He just flashed his killer smile, making me be lost for words. "I'm here to let you have some fun for a while."

"H-Huh?"

He laughed at me, natutuwa siguro sa reaksyon ko na parang walang kamuwang-muwang sa paligid. 'Yong tipong lahat ng bagay ay praktisado ko, pero pagdating sa gantong sitwasyon ay hindi ko alam ang gagawin. Nakakalimutan ko ang mga dapat sabihin.

"Are you really surpised to see me? Or are you just playing an act?" Tumawa siya ulit. "Whatever it is, let us have a date."

"What?" was all I can say.

"Date."

"Where?"

"Somewhere you'd like."

I studied his expression kissed by the lights coming from the inside. Isang malalim na buntong-hininga dala na rin ng kapaguran ang pinakawalan ko. "Fine, but I'll change my clothes first."

I was about to enter inside when Zyrelle grabbed me by the waist and kissed my forehead. I was dumbstruck. "You are pretty. Don't worry, the uniform suits you."

Luckily, I managed to form a word to retort to him. "So you are saying that I am fitted to be a waitress?"

"I haven't said something like that. Sabi ko, the uniform suits you not your work. What I meant is, you still look beautiful or gorgeous or pretty. Ah, beautiful is the best adjective to describe you! Pretty is for you when you wear dresses and gorgeous when you will wear your wedding gown as you walk down the aisle to come for me." He rubbed his nose. "Ah yeah, whatever! I'm talking nonsense."

I laughed at him. Nakita kong naglabas siya ng piring. He put a blindfold and assisted me to the place. I stayed silent. I heard the sound of an elevator. He pushed me softly inside 'til it went up and another sound reverberated. Naramdaman kong bumukas ang pinto. Lumakas din ang hangin. Tumabi sa akin si Zyrelle at inalis ang pagkaka-blindfold sa mga mata ko. "So, how is it?"

'Cause we were just kids when we fell in love
Not knowing what it was

"Just right, Zyrelle."

I will not give you up this time
But darling, just kiss me slow

He doubted it, but when I flashed an excited, warm smile, his face looked relieved.

Your heart is all I own
And in your eyes you're holding mine

He is smiling like he had seen the most precious gift on earth. I can't say anything. All I can do is admire the peace and the lightness of everything like life is too easy.
