3rd Person POV
Oliver and Barry run
Superman...but in all black....lands in front of them
"There's no place you can run where I can't find you." He tells them. "It's over."
"What're you talking about?" Oliver asks
"Clark, it's us." Barry says. "Barry and Oliver."
"Oh, I know who you are." Superman says. "Your confusion lies with me."
"Deegan." Oliver says through his teeth. "The Monitor gave you the book back?"
"And showed me how to really use it." DeeganSuperman says
"You can't just write yourself as a hero." Barry says. "It doesn't work that way."
"Doesn't it, though?" DeeganSuperman says. "You were struck by lightning. I was given the book by a higher power. Both random acts of chance. But this, this is my destiny. So much more than becoming the Flash was ever yours."
"People don't become heroes because of circumstance. They become heroes in spite of circumstance." Barry says
"You're just a cheap knockoff." Oliver says
"Oh, I'm anything but cheap." DeeganSuperman says
DeeganSuperman zaps a tower behind the boys with laser eyes
The tower wobbles
"And just wait till you see what other fun changes I've made." DeeganSuperman says. "To your family, your friends. There is no safe harbor for you. This is no longer your world. It's mine!"
DeeganSuperman hits the ground and the ground breaks apart, throwing Barry and Oliver back
The two groan
"Hey. I have an idea." Oliver says, putting his hand out for the gun Barry had
Barry tosses the gun to Oliver
The two stand up
Oliver holds the gun in front of him
"Idiot, I'm bulletproof." DeeganSuperman says
"I know." Oliver says
Oliver turns around, shooting the tower
The tower starts falling
From the streets, people scream
"You wanna be Earth's hero?" Barry says. "Save the children or stop us."
"Your choice, Superman!" Oliver say s
DeeganSuperman flies into the sky to save the people
Oliver and Barry run
"Being bad makes me feel bad, man." Barry says as the two run
"The crane gag was harmless." Oliver tells him. "It would've landed in an empty parking lot."
"Still, man. I don't know. Just doing something like that on purpose, I think I'm gonna puke." Barry says. He starts gagging and they stop running
Police sirens sound
"No, I'm okay, I'm okay." Barry says
"We need to find out how extensive this reality-change is, and we need to get off the streets." Oliver tells him. "Come on."
Barry retches
"I can't get anything coming up." Barry groans. "I can't..." They start running again. "Wait up. I have a plan."
