Chapter 26 - Cause and XS

3rd Person POV

"Okay, here we go." Nora says, handing Iris her coffee

"Thanks." Iris says

An alarm goes off

"Come on!" Nora groans

"It's Sherloque." Iris says, looking at the screen

"What? I thought he was here with Caitlin." Nora says

"We gotta get Frost." Ralph says

Mack stands up

"No, no, I got this." Nora tells them. "You guys just stay here."

Nora speeds through the city

Cisco breaches in

Sherloque is sitting there, tied up

"Look out!" Sherloque yells

Something whips through the air

Cicada's dagger lodges in Cisco's back, killing him

"Told ya." Cicada says

Nora stops on the rooftop

"Cisco!" Nora yells. She starts crying. "Why can't I fix this?"

She turns around, speeding out and reversing time

Nora skids to a stop in the hallway in tears

"Ugh! Why can't I go back any further?" Nora sobs

"Nora?" Ralph asks, walking over

"Cisco hasn't left yet." Nora tells him

"Great." Ralph says

"So we get another chance at this." Nora gasps out

"We do." Ralph says, walking into the cortex

Nora walks into the cortex

Everyone watches her panicked expression as she walks through the cortex

"I'm fine, Sherloque." Nora says. "I have to fix this."

Nora walks over to Cisco and Ralph and speeds them out

Mack and Caitlin share a look

Soon, Nora speeds the others out

Mack is the last to be sped into the lounge and she jumps off Nora's back

"Okay, you guys have to stay here." Nora tells the group

"Why?" Ralph asks

"Because Dad put his trust in me that I would protect all of you and I'm the only speedster here for the first time and if something were to go wrong, I don't know if I could fix it, in fact, I'm pretty sure that I couldn't fix it, so just, for one hour, stay here." Nora says

Everyone starts talking about things they have to do

"No, no!" Nora exclaims, trying to get everyone to stay

Cisco freezes in place

"Kamilla." Cisco breathes

Everyone pays attention

"Oh, I got some details on the kinds of guys she's into." Ralph says, holding up his binder

"Wait, were you cyber-stalking her?" Caitlin asks

"No, I'm not stalking her. It's her public profile." Ralph says

"Guys! I'm sorry, but you're just gonna have to stay here." Nora snaps
