MacKenzie's POV

I huff, resting my elbow on my crossed legs and my chin on my hand

Barry laughs slightly at my reaction, looking at me

"You don't like Monopoly?" Barry asks, moving his piece a few spaces

I give him a look

"Does it look like I like Monopoly?" I say

"Cisco brought it down for you." Barry says

"Cisco brought it down as a joke." I tell him, tossing the fake money in my hands onto the board. "Monopoly is a game for people who can sit still for long periods of time and I don't know if you noticed but that's not me."

Barry laughs lightly again, tossing his money onto the board too

"Yeah, I was a little surprised when that was what he brought for us to do." Barry says

I nod

"Hey, how are your arms?" Barry asks

I pull back my sleeves and hold my arms out for him to see, turning them back and forth

"Caitlin said they're not broken." I tell him as he examines the bruises. "Only bruised. Something about me quaking so much so often and hurting myself that my bones are actually starting to get stronger. Bruising should go down in a few days."

"Do they hurt?" Barry asks

"Um, only a little." I tell him. "But I'll be okay."

"Alright." Barry whispers

Barry finishes his...I don't know...a lot of burgers

I'm sitting on the floor of the cell, eating my slice of pizza Sherloque bought me

"Thank you." Barry tells Sherloque

"Well... right." Sherloque says

"Yeah." Barry says

"That will hold you until you get out... oh!" Sherloque exclaims. "Uh, can I ask you a question? Uh, do you have a minute?"

"Yeah." Barry says

"Yes, you're not going anywhere." Sherloque jokes. "So, um, last year, you came out of the Speed Force and you were writing a kind of a symbol language. Do you remember that?"

Barry and I share a look

Barry looks back at Sherloque

"Yeah, I remember." Barry says

"And apparently, Cisco could only translate one of these phrases." Sherloque says. "Right?"

"So far, yeah. I mean, Gideon couldn't even do it." Barry says

"Gideon. Right, Gideon." Sherloque says. "So what do you think that language was?"

"I don't know. It was some kind of, uh, chronolinguistics." Barry says

"Chronolinguistics that you got from your time in the Speed Force, which is all time at once, right?" Sherloque says. "Past, present, future." What do you think this language was? Future, maybe?"

"Why? Is this about Cicada?" Barry asks

"Cicada?" Sherloque asks. "No, no. No, It's just, um... le mystère, huh? I'm a detective. I see mystery everywhere, so..."

"Uh-huh." Barry says

"Uh, all right." Sherloque says. "Thank you. See you next time. Oh! Ah, before I forget, the Legends, uh, dropped off some, um, books to help you pass the time. Uncaged Desire. Your kind of caged desire. Hope you enjoy it." He says, passing the book into the cell. "Sorry, Wildcard, I didn't bring you a book because I was told you, um, how do I say this...you 'don't sit still'." He quotes
