9. Anniversary

2 weeks later

After we arrested Hero Killer, Iida was send into hospital becouse of blood loss. It turned out of his arms got permanent damage. He said something about surgery that could fix it, but he decided to keep it how it is. He probably wanted some reminder of his foolishnes and I decided to let him be. Iida's mentor Manual was still punished for not keeping him in line. I wasn't in any problems since I had permission from Woods to use my quirk. However we got visited by police chief of Hosu city, who explained that it would be in our best interest to give credit for Stains arrest to pro heroes. Kinda makes sence, we still don't have our licence so even if I had permission it still could make some trouble. So I decided to give credit to Woods. After 2 days our inteships ended and we came back to U.A. It turned out that most of my classmates had much easier internships than me. Shizumi immidietaly started crying when she first saw me and talked about how much she was worried about me. Thank god I managed to calm her down after 10 minutes. Anyways next days were again just our normal classes like we were used to.

Today was friday. School got closed today for building maintenance. Ofcourse, that was perfect, becouse today was mine and Shizumi's first anniversary. It seemed like Shizumi forgotten, so I decided that I will make it suprise for her. I called her to meet me at 14:00 at central plaza.

Now when she finally arrived.

Shizumi: Sorry to keep you waiting Zuzu.

Izuku: No problem, shall we go?

Shizumi: Yeah, but can you tell me why you asked me on date today?

Izuku: (Ok, stay calm.) I just thought we weren't on date since our internships, so I thought we could use this chance to relax and enjoy ourselves.

Shizumi: That's so sweet Zuzu, so where are we going?

Izuku: I thought we could go see a movie first. What do you think?

Shizumi: Sure, sounds good.

Time skip 2 hours

Izuku: That was fun, don't you think?

Shizumi: Yeah, but I was kinda sad about that whole end, weren't you?

Izuku: Well, I think I'll pass on that question.

Shizumi: Fine, so what's next?

Izuku: Have you heard of Shinagi amusement park?

Shizumi: No?

Izuku: It's amusement park they opened about a month ago, so I thought we could look at it.

Shizumi: That is wonderful idea, we never were in amusement park before.

Izuku: Ok, come with me.

I took Shizumi's hand and went in direction of amusement park. Once there, we bought tickets inside and started going around. We were playing games and having time of our lives. This was first time since I got to U.A. and could forget about all that hero, villain stuff and could have my attention only on Shizumi. I was kinda sad when I realized how much I had to push her aside for sake of my goal of being no.1 hero. I have to admit I really miss those days when it was just me and her, not needing to care about anything or anyone else. But now we were heroes in training and we can't afford to be selfish like that anymore. Eversince we became couple Shizumi always stayed by my side. I always tryed my best to make her feel happy and return her love she gave to me, but I was always wondering if I was doing enought. I started thinking about how much I have done for her before and after we got into U.A., but I realized that I really wasn't paying much attention to her these past months. I am not sure if she feels that too, but even if she doesn't, I have to set things right. Despite my thoughts I kept smile on my face, becouse I could see Shi was enjoying time we spend together, I managed to push those thoughts aside for now and put my full attention on her again. We went on many atractions. Roller coaster, ferris wheel, corousels and so on.
