13: Lingering Thoughts

It's the next day. Chaeyoung drive Dahyun back to Twice's dorm.

"Dahyun! God! We were worried!" Momo was the first one to greet Dahyun.

She hugged the younger tightly. Even though they had an argument yesterday, she is still concerned for the girl.

"I'm sorry Unnie... I was just... In a bad mood" Dahyun hugged back.

Chaeyoung melted at this sight but at the same time, felt a pang in her heart.

Everyone hugged Dahyun and Jihyo gave her a quick scold and ended it with an I love you.

Chaeyoung was just standing in the corner, admiring them and Mina noticed.

Mina approached the girl who seems to have not felt the presence of Mina.

"Hey"

Chaeyoung jolted a bit and saw Mina looking at her with a smile.

"Oh hey Mina" Chaeyoung smiled at her, showing her dimple.

"Thank you for bringing Dahyun back"

"It was nothing. And besides, I am glad that I helped Dahyun is some sort of way" Chaeyoung said and just looked at her bro smiling again.

"You're a great person Chaeng" Mina said and Chaeyoung looked at her.

"I know" Chaeyoung smirked and both of them laughed.

"Cocky again"

"As always Ms. Myoui"

The both of them laughed again and fell into another comfortable silence.

"Ey Chae! Thank you for bringing this cheerful tofu back! Have you had breakfast yet?" Jihyo asked and good timing, Chaeyoung's stomach just grumbled.

Everyone giggled and insisted Chaeyoung to eat with them.

After eating, Chaeyoung needed to go since she has a company to take care of.

"Thank you Chae and drive carefully" Jihyo said and smiled to her warmly.

Chaeyoung waved her hand at them and went out their house.

"Alright Son Chaeyoung, let's go" Chaeyoung said to herself and jumped into her convertible.

She drove to her building and was greeted by herb staffs. She went to her office and saw Jun was already there.

"Morning" Jun greeted and put down her tablet.

"Morning as well" Chaeyoung said and dragged her feet to her chair.

"Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed" Jun stated.

"No... Just thinking a few things" Chaeyoung answered.

Normally, when Chaeyoung would say something like that, it's business or career thoughts.

But today, somethings is not right.

"Hey what's wrong cubs?" Jun asked.

"Nothing really" Chaeyoung said. Sometimes she's a tough but to crack.

"If you need someone, I'm here" Jun said and Chaeyoung nodded.

"How's Dahyun doing today? Gosh the pain must be... Painful"

Chaeyoung chuckled in her mind.

"Ugh South Korea is great in many ways but they're a total ass when it comes to sexuality and tattoos"

Chaeyoung shook her head and a boy went in with a bunch of papers.

"I wish you best of luck Bro... And I'll always be beside you"
