36: Creeping anxiety (2)

JYP has issued a statement over Mina's anxiety and fans from all over the world are in deep pain and sadness for the girl.

"Mina!"
"Mina look over here!"
"Myoui Mina!"

Everyone shouted her name but that only made her anxiety worse. She's not in the best condition for spotlight right now.

"Move it!" a guard shouted to the crowd with big cameras who's blocking their ways.

They got out and waited outside but Mina is searching for something. For someone. She needs to see this someone or else she'll completely broke down.

Mina looked to the left and to the right but couldn't find that someone. Her eyes are tearing up.

"Psst!"

She looked up and saw a small figure in a gray hoodie and pants. The person is also wearing a face mask but she knows who it is.

It's Son Chaeyoung.

She felt relieved and they started moving since the van is already there. She saw Chaeyoung walking towards her and she can't help it.

She ran.

"C-Chaeng..." Mina stuttered and buried her face in Chaeyoung's neck.

"Who's that?"
"Isn't that Chaeyoung?"
"Oh my god it's Chaeyoung!"

Everyone is surprise at the sudden appearance of Son Chaeyoung but remembered she's good friends with Mina. Or are they really good friends?

"Mina, let's go inside now" Twice's manager said but Mina didn't let go.

"Are you coming with us?" Mina asked  Chaeyoung.

"I can't but I'll follow behind" Chaeyoung said and Mina nodded.

They broke the hug off and Chaeyoung fixed Mina's hair. Specifically her bangs.

This got a lot of attention and the cameras started clicking again. Mina is starting to tremble and the manager pulled he ringside the van.

Chaeyoung went to her car too and followed sbehind just like what she said to Mina.

They arrived at Twice's apartment and Mina hugged Chaeyoung again after she got off the car.

"Hey, we need to get inside" Chaeyoung said and Mina nodded again.

They went inside and Chaeyoung helped to carry Mina's luggage inside.

The manager thanked and left since she needed to go to JYP's building where JYP, who went back home yesterday, is waiting for an update.

"Mina, do you want to rest?" Chaeyoung asked and Mina nodded.

Chaeyoung escorted Mina to her room and tucked her in.

"Stay" Mina said and held Chaeyoung's wrist.

"I'll cook you dinner" Chaeyoung said but Mina shook her head.

"Please?"

Chaeyoung can't resist those eyes so she sat beside Mina and softly touching her hair.

Mina fell asleep quickly and Chaeyoung smiled before placing a kiss on Mina's forehead.

Chaeyoung realized and stoo up quickly. She looked at Mina for a second before mentally screaming at herself.

She went outside and closed the door as quiet as she could and went to the kitchen.

She grabbed he rphone and dialed Jun's number.

"Sup ki-"

"Unnie! I'm going crazy!" Chaeyoung whisper shouted.

"What's wrong?"

"Unnie I kissed Mina! I kissed her!"

"Are you out of your goddamn mind?!" Jun shouted.

"Why the fuck would you do that idiot?!" Jun continued.

"I-I don't know! She asked me to stay and she fell asleep quickly then I looked at her. Then I half-consciously kiss dher forehead! Unnie help me!" Chaeyoung is panicking, nervous and angry at herself.

While Jun on the other hand is relieved that the girl didn't do anything stupid.

"It's only in the forehead so it's okay" Jun said calmy

"Are you kidding me?! As a gay person, a kiss is a kiss so I can't say it's okay! I'm gay panicking over here!" Chaeyoung shouted accidentally and put her hand on her mouth and waited to see if she woke up Mina.

Chaeyoung sugehd in relief and resume her call with Jun.

"Jisoos cubs, calm the fuck down. She's sleeping. She won't know"

"I know... But I'm worried if... If... If that looked like I'm taking advantage of this friendship. Cuz I'm swear I'm not. I truly love this friendship with hers Unnie. I can't risk it" Chaeyoung's voice broke.

She's frustrated again. Just thinking of it makes her heart broke into pieces. Her throat dry. Her eyes watery. Overall, depressed gay.

"Chae, calm down. I know you've trued to change your ways and I'm proud of you. But don't overthink it. Now, go and be the greatest friend she could ever have" Jun said and Chaeyoung calmed down.

"Thank you Unnie" Chaeyoung said and ended the call and inhaled deeply.

"I'll stop thinking about it" Chaeyoung let out a big sigh and went to the kitchen.

But she doesn't know how to cook so she just ordered food through grab. While waiting, she decided to check on Mina again.

She went inside the room and saw a sleeping angel peacefully. She smiled at this sight and crouched down to see Mina's face up close.

"Just like an angel... A very pretty angel..." Chaeyoung muttered and scanned the girl's face.

Long eyelashes. Mole on her nose bridge. Pink lips. Cute mochi cheeks. Great jawline. It's perfection.

"Chaeng?" Mina groaned and Chaeyoung got scared a bit.

"Y-yes I'm here" Chaeyoung said and Mina opened her eyes.

"I thought you left me..." Mina said and Chaeyoung shook her head.

"No, no... I was planning to cook but I don't know how so I ordered food..." Chaeyoung said, slightly embarrassed.

"It's okay... I don't mind" Mina said and her eyes landed to Chaeyoung's lips.

Chaeyoung noticed Mina staring at her lips so she stood up. Mina looked at her confused.

"I think the food is now here" Chaeyoung said and went out the room.

"What was that...." Chaeyoung touched her lips but shook it off.

And good timing, the food did arrive that moment. She payed the delivery oy and put the food on the living room.

She ordered healthy foods for Mina to eat. She went to the room again to call for Mina.

"Mina? The food's here, let's eat" Chaeyoung said and Mina nodded.

Chaeyoung prepared chopsticks and bowls and waited for Mina. After a minute, Mina came walking towards her.

"I've ordered samgyetang, bibimbap and some bulgogi" Chaeyoung said and gestured Mina to seat.

Mina sat beside her and Chaeyoung gave her chopsticks and a bowl. Mina opened the food and the smell hits their nose.

"Uwaaah smells amazing~" Chaeyoung said and gave Mina first a serving.

All throughout their lunch, no one was speaking. Mina didn't say anything so Chaeyoung has no reason to dmsay anything also.

They just sat there quietly, eating chicken off the bone and enjoying each other's presence.
