Ben and Me
How wonderful to get away
To escape the noise
Escape the fray
Just me and Ben on a sunny day
With some biscuits for him
And a sandwich for me
Sharing our own little world
Our place to be
On the comfort of grass
And warmed by the sun
We brought our kite
To have some fun
High in the sky
It dives and twirls
The colourful tail
Describing swirls
And as it flies aloft
We experience peace
Earth, warm sun and sky
Feeling nature's touch increase
No demands that we must try
No other place we need to be
Two friends enjoying life as one
Just Ben and Me
