God is my friend
I always wanted a friend,
But then I never got a chance.
Like how all get one to trend,
My maid did tell a story of breaking my trance.
God can be my friend, it seems,
She said he had made wonders.
While narrating, her face had gleams,
And it did make me ponder.
I started to pray earnestly,
Closing my eyes I did share myself.
Hoping he would-be my pal honestly,
To be there, to share and play like my little elf.
Chanting the mantra, he did come,
On his tiny car all happily over to me.
I call him at the time with a plan some,
And I stopped crying in the hours of wee.
He helps me always from those bullies,
Fighting and making them learn a lesson.
As my friend loves, I offer him white lilies,
On his birthday thats my favorite occasion.
