A summer morning
On a fine summer morning,
I and my buddy went all along.
Passing through the thick grove,
We took the time to reach the serene lake.
There was thick silence all around,
And I throw the pebbles into the water.
Ripples wavered, disturbing the still,
Causing the tiny leaves over, to sway.
I found the best spot over a timber,
I and my buddy made comfortable.
Wiggling his tail, I caressed his chin,
And removed the bait from the basket.
Tieing it up, I rolled and pulled the sling,
Into the water, it goes out on a hunt.
We wait and focus on the water,
Crossing the fingers to get a big fish.
Fishing was all fun during my vacation,
And I now remember my best buddy.
He has long gone, still, he is in my muses,
To recall and relieve in my busy life.
Dogs are always good companion,
Being there for us every time, loyal.
The most innocent creature, God has bestowed,
As a kid, I enjoyed my time with my buddy.
