Rosalie offered for us to hunt together before we left for Amanda's. I sometimes forget that my restraint is much better than most newborns, but Rosalie is right. I would rather be safe. Much to my mounting anxiety, the hunting trip was faster than expected.

After we had both had our fill I stood up and glanced at Rose. I still can't believe Rosalie was my mate. Never in a million year would I have imagined someone like her would be with someone like me. I can only hope I can give her a life she deserves.

"Stop your worrying." Rosalie says. "I can hear you thinking and I can't even read minds."

"Who says I was worrying?"

"You get this little crease," Rose whispers as she places her finger on my forhead, "right here, when you're worrying about something."

I gently pull her hand from my face and kiss her palm. "We better get going. We are supposed to be at Amanda's before lunch."

Rosalie apparently decided she wanted to race back to the house. If her smirk and then the blurr that replaced her were anything to go by. My newborn capabilities seemed to still be present since I could easily catch up to her. I slowed down so we were running roughly the same speed.

"You don't even stand a chance, love." I laughed. "I'm not sure why you even still try." But oh, am I glad she still does. Seeing Rosalie this carefree, with that smile gracing her lips will forever be my favorite scene. I was too distracted by her breathtaking beauty to realize she lunged at me as we reached the house. We landed rather ungracefully in the dirt. Me being the cushion to soften her fall. Not that I minded.

"Because Y/N, it is so much fun having you chase after me." She husked. Her lips so close to mine, but too far away. After a few breaths upon my lips, she winks and pulls herself off me disappearing into the house. Likely to our room.

"Rose! You're lucky we are on a time constraint! Otherwise, I would make you pay for teasing me like that." I huff as I get up and try to dust the dirt off my clothes. There is really no point. I need to change anyways. Running my hand through my hair, I turn to head back into the house.

As I make it to Rosalie and I's room I hear the shower running and the door cracked slightly. Walking into the room I see Rosalie's outfit from the hunt strewn all over the floor, leading to the bathroom.

Hmph. Rolling my eyes at my pent-up frustration, I walked to the opposite wall where our closet is. What kind of outfit do you wear to meet your best friend who you don't remember and her newborn baby? Smooth porcelain arms suddenly encircle my waist causing me to unconsciously leaning into the touch.

"You know," I softly hear whispered next to my ear. Close enough that I can feel her lips brush against my skin. "We can save time if you join me."

My brain instantly registers the familiar body behind me is entirely naked. A groan left my throat as I spin around in her arms and lift her up. Her legs instantly wrapping around my waist.

I crash against Rosalie's as I push her back up against the wall closest to the closet I was standing in. Bracing our weight with my hands on either side of her face, I break away from our heated kiss.

"Rose." Gosh I thought that breathing wasn't necessary for the undead. Why is it so hard to catch my breath? I feel her lips working their way down my neck leaving open mouth kisses and what would be hickies if I were still human. Groaning out "We need to get ready to leave. We don't have time for this."

Her mouth leaves my neck. Black eyes connect with mine.

"Then take me to the shower." She demands. "Now."

Griping her one hand behind my neck she crashed our lips back together. I feel her other hand inching my shirt up. Scratching my stomach lightly as she inches higher and higher. "You're wearing too many clothes." she mumbles into my mouth.

I register that Rosalie was removing my clothing as I started to make my way towards the sound of running water. Only breaking the kiss when a piece of clothing interfered.

Rosalie was wrong. It didn't save any time. If anything, it took the same amount of time as two us taking separate showers if not longer. But I am definitely not complaining.

"You will be the death of me one of these days." I say as we got dressed in our room.

"Y/N, we are immortal. That's the best part of it." Rosalie chuckles. "I can spend the rest of my days figuring out the best ways to get you riled up and frustrated without you dying."

I narrowed my eyes at her. "You know two can play at that game."

"You wont be better at it than me. I have years of experience on you."

"Challenge accepted, love." I grin. "Have you forgotten I am your mate. Only I can frustrate you like no other." I stalk over to Rose. I trail my fingertips up her arm slowly and across her collar bone. My fingers grasp a hold of her neck while my other hand grips her thigh. Pushing her back against the wall. I slowly lower my head to kiss her neck. My tongue making it's way up to her ear leaving kisses the entire way. "How am I doing so far?" I ask leaning back.

Once again dark eyes meet my own making me smirk. The smell of her arousal is almost enought o drive me over the edge and finish what I started but we have places to be. "Meet you at the car." I say shortly kissing her cheek and running out of the room.

"Y/N! That is so not fair!" I hear as I reach the garage making me giggle. I look at rose who is now standing by her car.

"Oh, come now Rose. You are the one who started it." I tease as I sit in the passenger side of her BMW.
