Rosalie's POV
"I'm here. What's going on?" I ask hurriedly, scanning the room. My entire family is huddled in between me and Y/N's table. Edward looks lost for words, Alice and Jess look conflicted and Carlisle and Esme look worried.
I aggressively walk towards them so I can look at Y/N, shoving Edward out of the way. The bed. It's empty. "WHERE IS SHE??"
Carlisle is the first to speak, nodding his head to the far corner, "She is over there. We can't get closer."
"What do you mean you can't get closer?" I ask as I turn to the corner. She is huddled with her side turned away from us. I step closer to her slowly. "You just walk closer. See."
"Y/N, honey, are you okay?" I ask gently as I reach out my hand. Just then she turned around eyes looking warily at my family. Then her eyes met mine. Once again my world stopped.

Y/N POV
Suddenly the darkness is blinding light. I can't tell where I am. Wait. I feel someone close. I gaze up and see a woman with beautiful eyes and brown hair. I sit up as fast as I can and I end up sending myself across the room. "Who are you? Where am I??" I huddle in the corner.
"Carlisle, come here." the woman says with a slightly raised voice. However, not one, but many people showed up. Three boys and two more girls to be exact.
"Stop. Right there. Don't come any closer." I say in a panic. "Who are you people? Why am I here?" The lady I first saw just got off the phone. "Someone please start answering me!"
The older looking guy spoke softly with his hands out, "Y/N, I'm Carlisle, remember? Carlisle Cullen. This is Esme, my wife." he gestures. "This is Jessica, Alice, Jasper, and this is Edward. We brought you to our house to look after you. You got into a dangerous situation." He tried to come closer to me but looked as if he remembered I asked him not to.
Why can't I remember anything? What is going on? Who is Y/N? Is that me? This. This doesn't feel right. I huddled further into the corner. Why can I HEAR everything, SEE everything, FEEL everything? I can see dust particles colliding in the sunlight through the windows. I can hear the crickets from the forest through the glass. My senses are on overdrive and none of it feels normal. My hands are continuously gripping my hair as I rock back and forth on my heels.
In my panic, I must have missed the two new people coming into the room. Now that I noticed, I can hear them speaking. The one girl seems to be aggravated for some reason but I don't want to look. I'm stuck in my own thoughts. All of a sudden I hear, "Y/N, honey, are you okay?" from the sweetest voice I have ever heard. I glance past the new woman to the people standing behind her, still noting where each of them is standing and if I need to make a run for it.
I look back at the woman who spoke to me. My eyes trace up to her model-type body. The heels, tight jeans, fitting shirt and jacket. Long golden locks come into view and then, golden eyes.
With one look, my world stopped. It now revolves around this woman. Her eyes looked worried and shocked. I noticed I now feel those same feelings. I felt a pull towards her like I knew her before and she was my world. "Who are you?" I ask in fear. Her eyes open wide and suddenly I feel my heart sink. Is she feeling that or is it me?
"My name is Rosalie Hale." She says softly inching closer to me. "Y/N, this must all seem so sudden for you. If you would allow me, I can get you some cleaner clothes and answer any questions you have."
I look around the room for everyone else. They all seem to have looks of compassion on their faces. I feel like I can trust them. And if not them I can definitely trust her. Rosalie.
"Okay, but just you," I say.
"That's fine. We can arrange that." She reaches her hand out to me, which I take. "I'm taking her to my room." As we walk passed them.
................................................................................................................................................................
"So this is your room?" I ask looking around. There is a wall that is a shelf of music and books. Two walls are just glass and the last one we just walked through has a TV on it across from the bed.
"I know those aren't the questions you want to ask, but yes, this is my room." She says with a small smile. "Here are some clothes, you can change in the bathroom." she gestures to the door on the opposite side of the TV of the door we just walked through. "I'll be waiting out here to answer more questions."
"Okay," I said as I took the clothes and headed to the bathroom. Her bathroom counter was spotless. Not typical of a normal teenage girl. "What is my name?" I called out from the bathroom as I slid on the grey sweats and plain white t-shirt.
"Y/N Y/M/N Y/L/N" she responds.
I step out of the bathroom and sit on the bench at the end of her bed. "What am I?" she looked hesitant to tell me as she repositioned herself on the side of her bed, seemingly uncomfortable.
"A vampire." She whispers, but I hear her. For some reason, I'm not shocked to hear of the existence of vampires. I am assuming she is one too. I can sense it.
"And you are one too?" Rosalie nods yes. "How do you become a vampire?"
Rosalie explains how a person can be turned to a vampire. That it takes a single bite from vampire for their venom to take over your body and change you. How her adoptive father said in extreme traumatic cases that it could leave the recipients with no memory of their human lives. I have more questions but one final one for my past life for now, maybe two.
"Since I don't remember my life before this, was it traumatic? And, did I have a good life?"
Rosalie looked both sad and angry at the same time. She first explained my family to me, even showed me pictures from what was apparently my phone. She explained my relationship with them. And then she told me about how I was changed, how it took me eight days to fully transition. And that brings me to right now. All of my senses catch up to my mind and I can feel my throat burning. I reach up to touch it lightly coughing.
"You're hungry. I'm surprised it hasn't taken over until just now," she still looks depressed but willing to help. "We need to hunt."
We lept out the window for my first hunting experience. With a few tips from Rosalie, I was able to catch my first deer. The blood quenched my hunger but there was still a slight tingle in the back of my throat.
"The more animal blood you drink the less red your eyes will be," Rosalie said reassuringly, "and the longer you live the less you'll notice the itching in your throat."
"Thank you, for helping me out," I said she looked like there was some hope in her eyes. "Should we head back to the house now? I think I need to talk to Carlisle and apologize to Esme."
