Aistel growled at Aedrofer. "I don't know you! How could I be your sister?" She was feeling a strange way towards this boy. It made her uneasy, but she didn't feel threatened by him.
Aedrofer let out another hearty laugh. "Dear sister. We are family from long ago and from a different land. I have searched the homes of all these low creatures in search of you. How glad I am to have found you." Aedrofer said as he took a step towards Aistel.
Aistel went to step towards him but suddenly she was covered in warm light and found herself in the banquet hall with the others. Sebastian had signaled a retreat and all the escorts had teleported the guest away. "All of you need to leave! We have been infiltrated by the suspicious man!" Sebastian called out as he staggered with Aistel.
Tons and Irene ran over to them. Tons grabbed Aistel's face and looked her in eyes. "Are you ok? Did he touch you?" He asked.
"I'm fine. That bastard appeared out of nowhere and claimed to be my brother." Aistel said.
Irene was helping Sebastian sit down when she turned and stared. "How can he be your brother when all your brothers are in Queens and younger than you?" She asked, puzzled.
"No clue."
Aedrofer was still in the meeting room and was standing over the broken seat that was next to Aistel. "Humph. This low creatures. We never should have tried to live in harmony with them and the dark ones. I lost my sister to those creatures. It seems he has also found her again... This makes everything more difficult. My dear Abirzela, I shall bring you home, dear sister." He said.
Aedrofer began to speak in a weird language and the same intricate lines that formed on Aistel's back were forming on his as well as his arms and chest. The runes on his forehead seemed to change as well. He had closed his eyes to start the chant and when he opened them; they were a bright gold with no pupil.
Suddenly the room began to shake, and he smiled a cruel smile. "Time to have some fun."
In the banquet hall, the entire room was shaking. Aistel felt more rage building in her. She felt heat coming from her hands. She glanced at them and lifted them up. Fire seemed to be pouring out of her fingertips. She clasped her hands together to stop it.
Suddenly a portal opened and Aedrofer walked through. He had a dagger in each hand that was blazing with white fire. A Fae guard ran up to stop him, only to have a dagger plunged into his chest. When Aedrofer removed it, the fae burst into flames, falling to the ground as ashes.
Even more guards rushed to fight Aedrofer. One by one they all fell to him. He started making his way towards Tons and Aistel, when Fisle jumped in front of them and pushed Aedrofer back using wind.
Aedrofer at first looked surprised, but then a cruel smile formed on his face. "Prince Fisle of Faeland. Oh, or should I say dethroned Prince Fisle?" He mocked Fisle as he circled him.
"Silence! The treaty is still in affect. Don't think Michael will sit by and allow this. You are jeopardizing everything!" Fisle shout as he threw another blast at Aedrofer.
"I don't care what Michael does. I never agreed to it. As her elder, protecting her is all I know!" Aedrofer as he began to charge at Fisle.
He quickly dispatched Fisle by throwing him to the floor. He then was making his way to Aistel when a sense of dread came over him. Aedrofer was lucky he was quick. He dodged at the last second, causing Tons to just miss his head.
"Oh dear. If that had landed... Definitely can't let that happen. Who might you be?" Aedrofer asked Tons.
Tons was growling and his back seemed to grow. Suddenly 4 extra arms burst through his suit jacket and shirt, tearing them apart. Tons was extremely well built and his calm, happy-go-lucky demeanor was gone. He stood up straight and pointed to Aedrofer. "Stand down. I won't stop if you don't. I don't care about your little fire." He exclaimed to Aedrofer.
Upon hearing this, Aedrofer threw his head back in laughter. "For a human you are quite dangerous. Well, you weren't always human though. Ah seeing you with sister relaxes me. Though you lot should probably not stay with this Elf." He said pointing to Fisle.
Fisle's eyes were suddenly a dark red and there were cracks in his skin. "Why have you returned, you disgraced seraph. Last I hear of you, Aedrofer, you had been imprisoned by Azrael himself. How did you get freed?" He huffed.
Aedrofer let out another roar of laughter but stopped suddenly. He then turned to look at Aistel even though Tons' was trying to block his view. "I am a disgraced seraph. This is true. Though my sister was made into a fallen due to lies and jealousy. Isn't that right, Prince Fisle? Nearly two thousand years. My sister was ranked higher than me. She was an arch. Reduced to a divine human." He said sounding sad.
Aedrofer took one step to the side and suddenly was in front of Aistel. He quickly grabbed her and disappeared. Tons had been so shocked by the amount of speed Aedrofer had, he was frozen in place. By the time he realized what had happened, by the time he reacted, Aedrofer and Aistel were nowhere to be seen. "Aistel!" Screamed Tons.
Suddenly Aistel and Aedrofer were on a beach. We are still in Faeland. I can smell that much. My head is spinning. Aistel thought as she tumbled away from Aedrofer.
"You must be afraid. I did just disintegrate a few faes. I can revive them because I just sealed them with my left dagger. My right dagger allows me to revive them. Dear sister. Please, just listen to me. You are in danger." Aedrofer said as he tried to steady Aistel.
Still dizzy and disorientated, Aistel allowed him to help her. "How can I be your sister? Explain that to me. Or I'll scream." She threatened.
"That was not a scream, that is a bellow, and it does not work on Seraphs. Only on lesser beings." He said as he helped her sit. "I will try my best to help you understand. If you allow me, I will share my memories with you." He said.
Aistel had grown tired with the cat and mouse and wanted him to fix what he had caused. "Fine, do what you have to to show me. If you are lying, I will kill you." She snapped.
"I do believe that. Even though you are lacking, you still are the arch. This will feel uncomfortable, but dread not. The discomfort will subside momentarily. I swear." He said as he gently placed his hands on her head and brought their foreheads together.
Aistel suddenly felt searing pain in her forehead. She realized that his runes had started glowing brighter and hotter. It was an intense heat that was causing her pain. She grabbed his hands and tried to move him. "Just a little longer, dear sister! I know it hurts. I am sorry. I would never harm you, little one. You are all I have left." Aedrofer said.
Aistel didn't care though, the pain was great. It then stopped. She was in a brightly lit room. She spun around to look out the window and her month dropped. Where ever she was, the place looked ethereal. There was a strange beauty to the land. The people she could see had wings. Some had a single pair whilst others had multiple. She even saw children with wings.
"Where the hell..." she said before hearing shuffling behind her. She spun around to see who or what it was and noticed a huge fluffy bed.
The sheets were moving and then a wing tipped in gold shot out and stretched. It was followed by three more large wings. The person sat up and yawn. They had long curly white hair. Their skin was bronze as well. When they turned around, Aistel let out a gasp. It was her. It was Aistel with runes on her forehead and large bright blue eyes.
"What the fuck is going on?!"
