Love Triangle

Mariana looked over to see Claire waving from the passenger seat.
"Oh" Mariana said shocked as she quickly put her keychain away.
"What are you doing out so late?" Claire said skeptical. She was starting to not believe her story from earlier and Mariana was just praying she didn't know Evan's house was near this neighborhood.
"Uhhh I...I... was visiting an old friend. Yeah, I finished helping Callie about 30 minutes ago, she used to live around here. I'm just going to find my Coche driver" she said confidently.
Claire looked at her for a little bit,
"Well ok, tell Callie I said good luck with everything" she looked back at the other people in her car, rolled up the window, and drove away.
Mariana quickly found her Coche driver and was headed back to the Coterie. She was feeling exposed and knew Claire wasn't that oblivious to what was going on.
In this moment she was glad Evan was leaving for a whole month, she was in the clear for nearly 4 weeks.
She arrived back at the coterie and went into her loft.
Isabella was doing some cleaning around the room,
"Oh wow you're actually cleaning?" Mariana said surprised.
"Yes, for your information I always clean my stuff" she said.
"Your stuff? Or are you sure it's not stolen?" Mariana said and Isabella looked over at her confused.
"I don't steal anything" she said defensively.
"Really? Because I think you like to steal boyfriends" Mariana said while laying down now in her pajamas.
"Oh please don't even go there. Besides your not innocent. Sex dreams about your boss? While your in a relationship? And now your pursuing something with him" Isabella said and Mariana looked at her shocked.
She didn't know she knew she was dating Evan.
"Who told you that?" She said.
"We live at the coterie, there's no secrets here. Also, it wasn't just a one way street with Raj, he wanted me too" Isabella said while making her bed.
Mariana started to get mad again.
"Did you sleep with him?" Her question caught Isabella off guard and she looked up at her.
"Why would you ask that" she said.
"Context doesn't matter, and like you said there are no secrets here. So, did you guys have sex?" Mariana asked calmly.
Isabella sat down on her bed,
"No" is all she said and then she got up and kept dusting.
"No?" Mariana said confused.
"Exactly, I never slept with Raj. Now I don't know where these little rumors are coming from but that's false"
"Ok.. Davia saw your confession at Trap Heals and you wrote that you slept with a roommates boyfriend" Mariana said hesitantly.
"Ugh what a bitch.. I wasn't talking about Raj, it was my last roommate. That's why she kicked me out."
"WHAT? you did this before and why didn't you tell me" Mariana said angry.
"You never asked. I told you when I first got here if you wanted references and you said no" Isabella said shrugging her shoulders.
Mariana shook her head.
"Oh my god" she whispered quietly.
She ruined her relationship with Raj over a lie and she slept with Evan while she was still with him, he did nothing wrong.
Mariana walked outside to the pool area and called Raj,
"Hello?"
"Raj, I need to apologize ok? You're amazing and I was told a lie about you and I believed it and I'm sorry" Mariana said as tears rolled down her cheeks.
"Woah.. well, I don't know what to say. What lie did someone tell you?"
"It's a long story but I thought you had sex with Isabella"
"What? Who said that are you kidding me?!" Raj sounded like he was pacing the room and angry.
"That doesn't matter I guess I'm glad it was all a lie" Mariana said sighing into the phone.
Though, this only made her feel worse about sleeping with Evan.
"Of course it's a lie how could you believe I would do that?"
"Well you did say you liked Isabella..."
"Yeah I said I felt something and you did too Mariana. But that doesn't mean I think you slept with him or cheated.. we were going to go work it out together. Both of us didn't want to give up"
"Can you blame me though? Isabella is like an actual psycho she definitely would do something like that"
"That would never happen!"
"I know.. I'm sorry ok" her voice cracked on the last word.
"I'm willing to try to give us another shot? Besides Isabella has been acting weird lately and ever since trap heals she has avoided me"
"I don't know Raj. I need to think about it ok? I'm not a second choice"
"That's not it.. I still love you"
Mariana froze at his words. She did feel love for him still. How is it possible that she feels this way for two people? She hung up the phone quickly.
"Should I get back with Raj?" She said to Davia who was sitting at the dining table eating an apple.
"Hmm. Aren't you with Evan?" Davia raised an eyebrow at Mariana.
"I mean, yes but, I don't even know if we're good for each other.. like, he's my boss" Mariana said pouring herself a glass of wine.
"Does the whole love triangle thing run in the family?" Davia said chuckling.
"What should I do?" Mariana said as Alice walked in.
"Ok no offense but.. you're asking relationship advice from Davia?" Alice said.
"You know what I agree, you must be very desperate" Kelly chimed in who was in the background looking through the fridge.
"Ugh" Mariana left to her loft.
Her phone chimed and she looked down at the text she just recieved, it was from Evan.

Mariana shut off her phone and buried her face into her pillow. What was she going to do?
At least Evan being gone will give her some time to think.
"What did you do?!" Davia barged into Mariana's loft.
"Oh my god! You scared the hell out of me!" Mariana said sitting up.
"Did you tell everyone about you know what?" She said shutting the door. Mariana scrunched her eyebrows together,
"You can't just barge in here, what if I was naked?!" Mariana said trying to change the subject. Davia put her hands on her hips,
"Stop trying to avoid this conversation. Also I wouldn't care" she sat on the edge of her bed.
"So, did you tell?"
"No. She came up to me asking a bunch of questions and I told her to talk to you that's all. I'm going to sleep" she said crawling under the covers.
"You're the worst" Davia said throwing the cover off her bed and walking out.
"Love you" Mariana said back.
