jeonghan would consider himself a good imposter.

multiple people had died by his hands- as well as his fellow imposter, joshua's. the two were certainly a pair that worked well together- managing to escape every spaceship with no more souls alive, before heading to their next target. every ship, they had a different strategy. jeonghan was able to incorporate a good mix of self-reporting, venting, and sabotaging to never get caught. and most importantly, he never saw the astronauts as equals.

this was joshua's biggest flaw, in jeonghan's opinion. every ship they brought to a terrible doom, joshua would cry over how he'd killed so many. in all honesty, jeonghan didn't understand how the younger was feeling, but he tried to comfort him nonetheless. astronauts were just people who came and invaded their planets. he had no empathy for them. none of them were intelligent enough, or kind enough, or thoughtful enough to meet jeonghan's standards. they were all the same cold hearted imbeciles.

this new ship looks just like all the others hed seen and invaded. with eleven other passengers- the most that he'd ever seen. normally there were eight, excluding the two aliens on board. he paid no attention to the amount of passengers- they'd all die anyways.

he was given his list of tasks before take off- knowing that he'd do none of them anyways. why would he if everyone would die within a matter of hours anyways?

this ship wasn't like others- it seemed that they were all smart enough to travel in groups. jeonghan rolled his eyes when everyone he passed by was with someone else. he prayed that joshua had found someone to kill.

after all too long, jeonghan decided to do a few of the tasks that he had been assigned. it was getting boring, and a little suspicious, walking around all the time. only when he started working on starting the reactor up was when he found someone who was all alone. they wore a cyan suit, a name tag reading "KWON SOONYOUNG".

their face was only slightly visible from the mask, but they were doing their task with a large smile. jeonghan didn't think it was possible for someone to be so happy unlocking manifolds, but there the astronaut was.

all jeonghan had to do was have a small look around, making sure no one would be coming. after the coast was clear...

snap.

"well, that was easy," jeonghan smiled with a small chuckle, watching the body fall dead to the floor. "sorry there, soonyoung. rest well,"

with that, jeonghan jumped into one of the vents, on the way to the lower engine. the coast was clear for him, and he gave a happy sigh as he stretched. that was a good, clean kill.

though, if he was in lower engine, then he would have to head back to reactor- or else he'd be labeled as suspicious. this would probably work out in his favor- since people never seemed to accuse the people who found the bodies. unless the ride to space had just started- that was suspicious as fuck.

to jeonghan's luck, he saw someone standing right near the body. they wore a yellow suit, and they were frozen in place.

"guys!" jeonghan yelled in the most emotional voice he could take. he hit the button he was given. it was only for when people were found dead.

this sent everyone rushing to the cafeteria- including jeonghan.

"where?" almost everyone spoke as soon as people filled the cafeteria.

something that no one seemed to take notice of, was that not only was soonyoung missing, but also the player in orange from earlier. jeonghan smirked when he realized that joshua had killed someone. that was probably why the younger was being so quiet.
