Y/N is a normal hobbit girl who has lived in The Shire all of her life. She always listened to Bilbo Baggins', her next door neighbor, stories of his adventures. Y/N was eleven years old when Bilbo's nephew, Frodo, who was twelve years old, came to...
Frodo and I stood alone on a balcony in Rivendell, looking out at the beautiful waterfalls and forest. We were both silent, but it was a comfortable silence.
I suddenly felt a hand slip into mine and looked over to see Frodo smiling at me, his sapphire blue eyes sparkling. "Oh, Y/N. What would I do without you?"
"Well.......you would probably be incredibly lonely and, at the worst, dead." I said matter-of-factly.
"You're probably right. But you would be dead too. Especially after hanging around Merry and Pippin." Frodo said, laughing with me afterwards.
"I think we'd both be lost without each other. Which is why I stayed by your side." I said, becoming serious again.

"Y/N?" Frodo said and I looked over at him again.
"I love you."
My eyes widened and a warm and electric feeling when through my heart. Before I could speak, a pair of lips were on mine, softly kissing me. I kissed Frodo back, feeling nothing but happiness.
He pulled away slowly after a few moments and I beamed, throwing my arms around his neck and burying my face in his shoulder.
"I love you too, Frodo."
We stood in silence, holding each other peacefully. "You have my permission to court each other." a voice suddenly said.
Frodo and I jumped apart and turned to see Bilbo standing there in the doorway and watching us with a smile. My face turned red and I could see out of the corner of my eye that Frodo's did too.
Bilbo began to laugh, and after a few seconds, Frodo and I joined him. We all hugged each other again, grinning and laughing.
Frodo asked me to be his girlfriend and I accepted without one bit of hesitation, kissing him again before hugging him. Closing my eyes, I heard Frodo say "The Ring is safe. We can go home now, an then we'll be safe."
Timeskip.......
I hid in a bush near a small meeting area outside. Apparently, Frodo had been summoned to 'The Council of Elrond', and Sam, Merry, Pippin, and I hadn't. Of course, we weren't having that so we decided to hide in the bushes nearby to listen.
Everything they had said so far had been about how the Ring couldn't stay in Rivendell and how it had to be taken to Mordor to be drestroyed.
A dwarf called Gimli had tried to destroy it with his axe, but it had failed miserably, breaking the axe in half.
Also, we had learned from an elf called Legolas that Strider's name was Aragorn, son of Arathorn, and he was Isildur's heir.
Now, everyone was arguing about who was going to take the Ring to Mordor. I rolled my eyes as everyone yelled and argued. Suddenly though, a new voice shouted above everyone else. "I will take it! I will take it!"
Everyone fell silent and slowly turned to Frodo as he stood apart. "I will take the Ring to Mordor. Though........I do not know the way."
Gandalf smiled slightly and walked over to Frodo. "I will help you bear this burden, Frodo Baggins, so long as it is yours to bear." He put a hand on Frodo's shoulder.
Aragorn rose from his seat and stepped forward. "If by my life or death, if I can protect you, I will." He kneeled down. "You have my sword."
Legolas walked over to them. "And you have my bow."
Gimli stepped forward and shouted "And my axe!" I held in a laugh as he and Legolas gave each other dark looks.
Boromir, the son of the Stuart of Gondor, slowly walked forward. "You carry the fates of us all little one. If this is indeed the will of the council, then Gondor will see it done."
My eyes widened and I hopped out of the bush, running towards Frodo. "Hey! Frodo's not going anywhere without me!" I turned to him. "I'll stay by your side. You have my love." I kissed him on the cheek as he smiled.
Sam, Merry, and Pippin emerged from the bushes. "Y/N and Frodo aren't goin' nowhere without me." Sam said strongly.
"Yeah. Y/N needs protecting too. By us strong folk. She ain't going nowhere without us." Pippin agreed.
Elrond had an amused look on his face as he spoke. "No indeed, it is hardly possible to separate you even when he is summoned to a secret council and you are not."
"You'd have to send us home tied up in a sack to stop us!" Merry told him, crossing his arms.
"Anyway you need people of intelligence on this sort of mission.....quest... thing...." Pippin said, sort of stumbling over his words.
"Well that rules you out Pip." Merry muttered.
I grabbed Frodo's hand and stood next to him while the others surrounded us. "Ten companions.....So be it! You shall be the Fellowship of the Ring!" Elrond announced and I squeezed Frodo's hand for reassurance.
Pippin puffed up his chest. "Great! Where are we going?"
A/N: YES! Y/N and Frodo are officially a thing! I loved that scene on the balcony! I would just like to say thank you for 100 votes. Can we try to get it to 1000 reads? We're almost there!
