One Shot: Tender Hearts

Taehyung raced down the school steps, aiming for the school grounds, where he hoped to see the person he wanted to see.

He reached the ground, slipping and stumbling along the way, to find a group of students practicing.

Taehyung looked around for the person, and his gaze fell on the girl who was packing her bag to go home after her section.

"Where were you racing? I almost died running after you," Jimin, his best friend, said when he reached him.

Jimin quickly followed Taehyung's gaze to the girl at whom he was staring.

Jimin sighed.

"Man, ask her out; you are drooling," Jimin said, annoyed by his cowardly friend.

Taehyung shifted his gaze to Jimin before returning his attention to the girl, his classmate.

"Jeongyeon-ah, it looks like it is going to rain; we should go," her friend Nayeon suggested.

Jeongyeon is one of the popular girls at school. Filthy rich, attractive, straight A+ student, and leader of the school's girls' basketball team.

To be more precise, she is a multitalented beauty with a brain.

While he is not lacking in anything, he is an introvert who avoids socializing with other students except Jimin.

Taehyung wanted to ask her out, but was worried about her reaction.

She could easily have a better boyfriend than him, but he still wanted her attention. However, he lacks the courage to ask her out.

The only thing that kept him sane was that she did not have a boyfriend despite the fact that boys pestered her on a daily basis.

He would undoubtedly be heartbroken if she found another boy. Selfish, right?

"Come she is going," Taehyung whispered, pulling Jimin's bag.

"Ah...yaah, leave me," Jimin yelled, but Taehyung did not listen and continued to follow her, dragging Jimin along with him.

Even though Jeongyeon is wealthy and has a car, she chose to travel by bus with her friends.

Her friendly and down-to-earth demeanor has captivated many, including him.

Taehyung enters the bus, pulling a wiggling Jimin.

He and Jimin sat two rows back from her and her friend. He watched as she spoke animatedly to her friend.

"Dude, you are whipped," Jimin remarked.

"Just say it and be done with it; I no longer want to be a part of your stalking section," Jimin screeched quietly in his ears.

Yes, Taehyung has been secretly following Jeongyeon every evening, tagging Jimin along.

The fact that they both live on the same street makes it not a stalking situation.
So no one would suspect his actions unless they were closely examined.

"Do you hear me?" Jimin asked again.

Jimin was the one being dragged throughout the event by his best friend Taehyung.

"Shut up, they are leaving," Taehyung murmured, standing up from his seat.

"What the hell? He dragged me against my will and is shutting me up, this kid aaahhh," Jimin muttered, frustrated by his friend's actions.
He reluctantly stood and exited the bus, following Taehyung.

The girls were walking fifty meters away from them, which he preferred.

As the boys watched, Nayeon waved at her and turned to the narrow passage.
