Rory's finger traced the top of her water glass. It had already been two hours of Emily talking at her and her mom. It was all blending together. The shame of being unwed and pregnant. The look that must have been on Logan's mother, Shira's face. How her grandfather would have been such a good great-grandfather. The need for a registry now that the news was out. Rory yawned.

"I'm sorry, are we boring you?" Emily's eyes darted over to Rory and off the list she had clearly been writing since they spoke yesterday.

Rory shook her head, but really was just as unsure of how this was a "we" conversation when only one of the three had been talking. "No, no I mean I completely agree with the registry." Lorelai nodded her head in agreement. "I just figured that I had time."

"God no! I mean, people will want to send gifts. It is only right. It will look badly if they don't." Emily continued. "Bergdorf's? Sack's? Harrods? I mean I say we do all three. Especially with Logan's London crowd." Emily was scribbling all the while making notes on her planner.

Lorelai glanced over at Rory, whose eyes looked as heavy as concrete. "Mom, I think Rory has had her fair share of the registry planning for today.  We should probably get back on the road. Thanks so much for lunch." Rory stood up, hugging her grandma around the neck.

"Yes, thank you. Especially for seeing us on such short notice." Rory wrapped her jacket around her shoulders.

"Of course. Anytime. Will you let me know which registries you decide on so that I can send out the announcements?" Emily turned as the Lorelai and Rory opened the door.

"Yes, just give me a couple days to decide."

Rory awoke to her mom's Jeep stopping and the dome lights glowing bright on her face.

"Good coma?" Lorelai chuckled as she rubbed Rory's shoulder. Rory smiled, her eyes adjusting to the light in the car.

"I slept the whole way. I do think that is a record." Rory grabbed her bag and she and her mom started towards the house. They noticed a black mid-sized car in the driveway. "Maybe April came up for a visit, " she remarked, continuing up to the house. They heard laughter before they even opened the door.

Lorelai looked at Rory, lips pursed. "That is not a normal sound for Luke." She cautiously opened the door. Rory stopped, taking off her boots and hanging up her bag and jacket.  "Luke?" she called questioningly.

"We're in the kitchen," Luke called as their opened the door.

"We?" Lorelai questioned, taking off her jacket and tossing it over the back of the couch. They continued into the kitchen.

"Hey Ace," Logan said nonchalantly. "Luke and I were just reminiscing about your grandparents vow renewal and graduation and meeting Kirk." Logan and Luke laughed. He stood up and enveloped Rory in a hug.

Rory's eyes were wide with excitement. "I thought you had a bunch of meetings until the doctors appointment. How did you-I mean, What...what are you doing here?"

"Waiting to see you has never been a strength of mine." A huge smile grew across Rory's face. "Hey Lorelai, " Logan continued he pulled back from the hug, his arm remaining around Rory's shoulders.

"Hey Baby Daddy," Lorelai replied jokingly. "You MAY just be one of my favorite people for real this time." Logan chuckled in agreement.

"Well, we should let these kids have some time together and go have  married people fun ourselves," Lorelai said rubbing Luke's back. Luke rolled his eyes but smiled and they said their goodnights to the two. Lorelai turned back towards them as they were walking out of the kitchen. "I would say Logan sleeps on the couch, but that ship has sailed."

Rory shook her head at her mother smirking. "Long ago mother long ago. Sailed around the world and back again by now."

Rory lay on Logan's chest, her hair cascading over his shoulder and down onto her bed. "This still feels like a dream. I mean you...here...."

"I mean, I have dreamed of this. Maybe not in this twin bed from when you were in high school but, this is...perfect." He kissed her forehead. "Which reminds me, I figured I would deliver Honor's gifts in person. Tall blue suitcase." Logan motioned to the suitcases by her closet.

Rory hopped out of bed. She lay the suitcase down, unzipping it. Inside were two pristinely wrapped gifts in white wrapping with golden fleur-de-lis embossed on it. Rory looked back at Logan who was now propped up on one arm, lovingly gazing at her. "Which are you going with first Ace- big or small?"

Rory grabbed the big one out of the suitcase. "It's so pretty. I almost don't want to open it....ALMOST." Rory got through the paper carefully and began unboxing the gift. She gasped as she saw the gift. Not because it was Burberry. Not because of the $900 price tag that was still attached. But, when Rory saw the tiny newborn sized jacket it became so real. She stood up, laying it again her small belly for Logan to see. He stood up, walking over to Rory and lay a hand on her belly. He kissed her again.

"It's perfect. Just perfect. Honor always gives the best gifts."

Rory picked up the next gift. She handed the small box to Logan. "You can open this one." That both sat on the edge of the bed.

"So this one is from Shira." Logan said clasping the small box in between his hands. "This quite literally could be a stick of dynamite knowing her." Rory giggled, backing away from Logan towards the door.

"If you blow up, I will make sure they use a good picture at your funeral." She joked. Logan quickly undid the paper. As soon as he opened the box, he started shaking his head. He thurst the package towards Rory. She looked down.

"A freaking silver spoon? Really? And monogrammed with HUNTZBERGER." She sat down next to Logan. "Could be worse- Emily is already planning on our baby registry at Bergdorf's, Harrods or Sack's. Is it bad I just wanted to tell her Target? Partially just to see the disappointed look on her face." Logan chuckled, setting the spoon box down next to them. He wrapped Rory up in hug.

Rory's phone went off, notifying her of a text message. Grabbing her phone she was shocked to see the news story and could not even say anything before Logan's phone started going off too. All he saw before the hounds of phone calls started was the text from the headline.
